@Truffles On The Rocks The Bee’s Knees is one of my favorite cocktails. I didn’t have lavender bitters. But I found a lovely black berry honey to make the honey syrup. My riff on this one was to take apple wood chips along with sage and rosemary and smoke it directly into a chilled cocktail coupe. Garnished with a single small sage leaf. What an amazing cocktail recipe. Balance was perfect. The smoke added a bit of complexity to the nose as it carried the sage and rosemary through the drink.

Great drink ideas. Simple yet flavourful. Will try that Bee's Knees with a rose bitters that I think would would well. For the absinthe nose some maybe have Star Anise at home and a small pinch of freshly grated goes a long way for the aroma. JF as for an idea try a cocktail that can work with multiple base spirits (gin, whisk(e)y, vodka) for those that have different set-ups and flavour preferences.

Great ideas! The rose bitters, the anis and the multiple base spirits cocktail... Thanks! But speaking of multiple base spirits, the previous video was pretty much on that topic. The template of the Mai Tai where you can sub the smoky tequila for mezcal or any other rum... But I keep that in mind for more like that. Thanks

Renzo Poblete dude, great choice. Try original Don Beachcomber’s Navy Grog, but use only plantation 3 stars (it’s already a blend of three different types of rum though). Furthermore, you may not grab a bottle of Pimento Dram Liquor , I like to toast some spices (allspice, cloves, star anise, cinnamon, nutmeg) then transfer this spices into pestle and mortar, crush them, add from 3 to 6 oz if white plantation, let infuse stirring for a minute, strain through the fine strainer into the shaker and add the rest of ingredients. This fresh and quick, Japanese-style spirit infusion opens another dimension of Navy Grog and let you not to use pimento dram liqueur (I tried both and my choice is up to fresh spices).
