GummyZz it’s just Sugar. I’ll be honest, I haven’t played with the Citric too much recently. Although, it did make some ace Daiquiris back in the day!!

Nope, sorry. But i do use Koko Kanu a lot now... easily the benchmark for Coconut Rums. Made by Wray & Nephew. its stunning!

I’d like you to be the next introduced to my signature drink. I haven’t seen it elsewhere but around me. It’s known as: The Mexican George, The Spanish George, or simply a Jorge. Fill highball or rocks glass (or copper mug) with ice to build in glass, 1-1.5oz of coconut rum, Splash of lime, Fill with ginger beer, Garnish with lime, Boom!

ha, nice. yeah a Coconut Mule. or a Coconut Stormy. I'm not that huge a fan of Coconut And Ginger Beer. Ginger Ale ain't too bad, but for some reason i find the Ginger Beer clashes with a Coconut Rum. But the only important thing is that you like it!! 👍 Cheers for watching.

Why no malibu?

Malibu is a Rum Liqueur. It's only 21% ABV (or 42 proof). So its not a great base for Cocktails. Ideally you need a Coconut Rum that's at least 35%/70 proof otherwise the balance of the Cocktail will be out. BUT, you could use Malibu. Just pep it up with some full strength White Rum.
