The mig --31 was never designed as a dog fighter, however it is a very useful war plane. It has a very high ceiling and high top speed, allowing it to swoop down on its target at a blistering speed. It has huge engines, that are highlighted by the enormous air intakes and exhaust nozzles.

Never underestimate someone or anything u never know wat he or she's capable of!!! Russia is also a superpower like any other countries... around the world 🌎

The first prototype of the su-57 first flew in January 2010, not in 2019 as stated. The su-57 has been a flying test bed for new technology and has recently been put into serial production I find it hard to believe that it is less expensive than the su-35 as stated in this video. The su-57 has six radars embedded in the air frame as well as its nose radar, it is by far the most sophisticated fighter that Russia owns.

As a Russian myself who grew up out in west i can tell US aircraft is still more deadly...Migs may go bancrupt cause they are behind in technology even compare SUs. Their latest Mig 35 is only an upgrade of cold war mig 27 which is not advanced enough for modern reality due to outdated concept itself. While SUs in another hand, already have SU57, which is Fully designed and Engineered without looking back at Soviet Past and instead looking at Lockheed Martin experience, they have established a small production of SU57 and promised to announce a prototype of SU75(analog of f35) next year... Su57 is actually more expensive than Su 35 due to more advanced Electronics that 35s simply don't have....

@@stanleyyager4941 NO, The so called Su 75 is a prototype of "Russian F35" single engine small plane. The Su 57 is an analog of F22 -Twin engine big plane. However both Su57 and Su75 are the 5th gen fighting fakes. They are just prototypes that still can't neither fly or shoot properly. On top of it they are based on imported western and Chinese components, production of which Russia doesn't have and never will.

my 2 favorite russian birds, su35, mig 31, brute power, incredible nimbleness , putin is lucky to have them!!

When Reagan came up with the star wars program, soviet scientists came up with effective and cheap countermeasure: blow up the nuke in the atmosphere, the cloud will go all over US making no use of satellites. And after they fed that information to the american intel, all work on that program stopped and all the taxpayers billions went into nothingness..

Its hard to compile in 5 places the great russian fighters, but i think the Super Sukhoi SU-30-SM-2 should be in the list.

The Russian Aircraft Industry Tate has been designing then constructing ssome excellent Fighters. The which choose to employ them are thrilled to purchase a Advance Fighter for around 30 Million ( less than comparable planes). The Su 57 is amazing to watch as it maneuvers well in comparison to our planes. Amazing for a Country with a GDP the size of the State of California.😊

The RCS of a SU-57 Felon is actually pretty big overall except from head on.

The new su--57s are fitted with the new Izdeliye 30 engines, which give more thrust, better fuel economy and less maintenance.

They are beautiful aircraft. They can hardly afford them especially now. Some brilliant aviators and designers.

Most Russian jet's have been upgraded since a year ago btw, they are now better, love em all, they can do all sorts of acrobatics unlike most america jets, but there are pro's and con's in all I have to say as well, God bless Russia.

It's so nice to know Russia did want to declare war against Ukraine. Zelensky wouldn't have had where to sleep at night let alone have the audacity to say he'd take Crimea by force.

What is the speed of SU57? The last two planes were left out without any information about speed, altidtude and tracking targets.. How many targets can engage simlutaneously? SU 57 should be the best. Although Mig 35 is nice too.

I was a USAF Tsgt Aircraft Structural Mechanic and I must admit the SU-27 is one beautiful, powerful, and a badass fighter jet according to all NATO pilots who flown it. However any day of the week I'd put my money on the Raptor against the SU-57 in a for real dog fight, and my money on the F-15X against the SU-27

At 75 years of age I have seen a lot of things. I am so proud to be witnessing Russia pull ahead in the world. The US has been persecuting Russia for so many years.
