You should do like 5 days with a fan where you pick a fan who does KZread (even if they're really small or something) and spend a week with them giving them tips on creating and letting them take you to their favorite places wherever they live :) I think that'd be so cool to see!

My favorite travel tip is to arrive in a new place in the morning. I've never flown international, but at least domestic it's definitely the way to go. You can start acclimating and creating the map in your head immediately. Arriving at night always leaves me excited to see stuff and annoyed that I can't yet. Or just crabby because I'm tired and feel out of place. As for where to visit, I'm from the Detroit area. You're likely to find some truly unique stuff here, just don't do the popular trespassing in condemned buildings thing.

Yeah I have to agree, I love to go to new cities alone but having a bit of company is good & healthy too. Especially after you've done exploring for the day & you've got nobody to talk to in your hotel room. Travel tips: google is your friend. I use the 'planned out to a tee but willing to be flexible' approach. I've got a full list of things to do when I hit New York next month but I'm going to play it by ear because the weather does what it wants!
