Coyotes and fox Number. 2 it's what I used only , they say they get out of them I'm not sure ok happy safe trapping

I was thinking of setting traps but thn l change my mind. I would break the ice on my pond and more room for my ducks to swim, safe and no one gets hurt Great vid by the way, very informative

Take two milk crates The top one cut the bottom out of it screw the two together put two hinges on the top one and a latch you'll be good to go

Sometimes they relocate them or if they are sure it’s one that’s been hanging around the livestock they shoot it

They're sold to places that skin them for their fur. Mange damages the fur, which renders it useless. ^..^~~

Know this was a few years ago. You may already know. When there is an abundance of females on a property it generally means they've moved in recently and are trying to populate the area. Just something I learned many years ago!

These guys are in the dog family, but I haven't heard any growling. Do they not growl when angry or feeling threatened?

They don't know what hunting trials are. Too soft hearted, unaware of farming and ranching practices. Someone on a different post said "do you relocate them?", yeah, they get relocated all right but they will never run wild again. City folk see the eyes and hear the barks and all they can see is their own pet dog, not a vicious predator.

People who love nature see the value in some of these 'vicious predators' to the ecology of the area. As populated as us humans are, I think we just need to at least set limits on hunting so we can lessen our impact and not totally mess up the food chain. And people wonder why the deer are overpopulated. I hope these guys limit their catch, thats all. It doesn't seem like they do, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

People are way too sensitive we have so many issues with coyotes our cows get attacked and our neighbors goats get killed and we hear them almost every night

Congrats on all those Yotes, that is awesome. Yotes need to be thinned out all over. I wish KZread would let you private message because I don't want to sound negative. Boxes could be a little bigger for them , just saying. You have a live market to sell too? The one with the bad shoulder rub is mites. Sucks when you lose one to that, because there is no sense in skinning them. No money at all for them. Good luck on many more and thanks for sharing.

Do you have a video on how you make your boxes if not I'd like to see one them woud make awesome boxes for chickens we can't catch live coyotes here ..

I give then coyotes to fox pins here in NC. The pins are hundreds of acres big and they use the coyotes/foxes for hunting trials.

Trying to start traping and like he did was the first one alive

GREAT JOB 5 in a day that was fun to watch . If you cut a small notch in your plywood cage door you could close and latch the door before removing catch pole may save you from loosing a coyote are getting bite waiting to see 6 !

Find the pinch points and intersections on the property! Just like when you’re deer hunting! SET ON SIGN!!! If you see coyote scat make a set, make 2 sets! You’ll catch one eventually, keep trying!!!

Use a small shovel to do the act , say it from hole to trap is infact to close in how I see it . A garden shovel or a flower shovel is best

No he didn't. When first showing him his right leg is back under him. You have to slow down the video to see it. It does look like it on his left leg at first.

I continually have coyotes walk past my sets. Wind direction good or bad doesn’t matter. Why are they consistently walking by? I’ve made my sets as good as can be made.

I hunt a property that has a coyote issue, id like to know more about trapping these animals,

U keeping live , how u dispatch when using pole ,it should be dead u can just throw them in box I never seen this way help me out dude

From what I understand it people will pay more for a living coyote than just a coyote fur most of them go to places where they train dogs

Here in Missouri ,I went to a Demonstration on catching coyotes to sell to run pens. And the guy said to give them 1 cc of Ivamectin to Deworming, and get rid of the Mange.

It's that coyote can get to it easy u want to flip trap .it has to be smaller my grand dad told me make smaller so work for it harder to get in trap more

I get what you’re saying. But for eye appeal I use a 3inch hole. The hole is 18+ inches in the ground. No matter how hard the Coyote, Fox, or bobcat work the trap they will not be able to get the bait out of the hole

U can loose them maybe I use in a slant much harder to get bait out they struggle w it alot of times
