I was in a thrift store for clothes by a college campus. They had awesome old concert T-shirts for $1! I bought 10. The cheapest one sold for $30! Totally true story. Oh, and Blue jeans. I cleaned out a closet and was going to toss some old blue jeans or donate them, but some still had tags on Them! What the hell was I thinking,,, They all SOLD! And I mean within a week max. People just like to shop on the internet....

Mugs are a head ache to ship. Clothes are easy, flat envelope, wrap in dark trash bag. Use post office envelope for water proofing before wrapping in trash bag. Super cheap.

Thanks for the great info. But please reconsider gathering shells from delicate ecosystems like Hawaii. I don't know the effects but I encourage researching it before possibly contributing to the very real damage that has been done to places like Hawaii through tourism and consumerism :)

I side with you, my grandmother would always tell me that if I were to pick out a shell at the beach, make it one, and make it count. If everyone were to pick up a shell or even more than one every time they went to the beach, there wouldn't be any more.

I was at the Hobby Lobby and bought a Eiffel Tower glass bottle with vinegar and peppers inside for $4 and sold it for $29. Hobby Lobby is always selling things dirt cheap that I've flipped easily. The key is Good and Plenty of Photos. Presentation is important. I;m gonna have to go back because they were selling bags of sea shells really cheap (so you shouldn't have to haul them back from Hawaii) Lol... Great video

I'm quite sceptical about this kind of selling/earning money. Selling shells is a no go. Selling toilet paper rolls might be a good idea. But (when you have a familiy) you need a month to get 25 to 30 pcs. And for how much can you sell them?

MyLadyRedd - I am by no means an eBay expert, but having sold many a t-shirt & other various clothing items on eBay, I would not even consider selling them without having washed them first. That is unless I purposely want to get negative feedback. Something of which I have got but once in my 7+ years of selling on there. Plus, in my books it is only a matter of pride, as well. Selling & shipping clothing items the same way you yourself would want to receive them had you been the one buying them from someone. Just a thought for you to consider, my friend. Best of luck as you start to list & sell, as well. Cheers!!!

People love certain types of animals.. Owls, Dogs , horses, and roosters. Buy anything that features one of these, coffee mugs, lamps, statues, so on.. it will double on eBay. Also toy robots! Any condition. Old or New!

I use a shipping scale and charge by weight. First class items are 16 ounces and under and (as of today, the postal rates could change) costs from $2.66 to $4 or so. I also use flat rate envelopes for priority mail and they cost $6.50 to mail with my ebay discount.

Goodwill outlet aka the bins or weigh and pay, is where all of goodwill's "rejects" or unsold inventory goes. You pay by the pound. Nothing is sorted or on hangers. Everything is thrown into giant bins.
