Hi, since I want to buy this camera, I wanted to know how long the battery lasts. Moreover, I wanted to know if I can use any SD card I buy or if only the original one works

I bought my first digital camera in 2006 it was a samsung S 630, an ok budget camera for its time, the same year my father bought a canon power shot S45 and it has been my favorite since then but I have owned many cameras since then but the canon power shot S45 has been my favorite over the years. Thanks for a great video PS I also have the Canon Powershot A470, a fantastic camera

Just picked mine today at local flea market for 2 euros. Had the lens error but after couple of minutes it fixed, maybe the error occured because it was laying outside at low temperature. Works fine but has horizontal lines in photos, any fixes to this?

just found one for a good price fully functional and with the box and a bag for carrying it

might be a shutter defect, mine does the same but video works

ive noticed that newer sd cards with higher storage doesnt work with these cameras, i used a 500mb sd card

I also have rare canon power shoot a410

from my experience memory cards that are fairly new or have a lot of storage don't work with the camera, I use a SanDisk 512mb SD so maybe try and find a SD card that has less then 1gb on it

This model only takes a maximum of 2GB so just keep that in mind. The SD you’re using might exceed the maximum capacity of the camera.

Hi, i really like this camera but the SD card that I have is almost full and to be honest I don't really want to buy another SD card. So my question is: how do I empty the SD card without loosing all the photos that I took? or even better, how do I upload the photos to my PC? Could you help me pls?

Yeah you can import the photos to your PC with the cable or SD adaptor or if you don't have a PC even get a on the go cable to plug a SD adaptor into your phone and get the photos off the SD card that way

i removed the dirt in the lens that caused the error with a card

loved the video honestly. and i thought i was underrated

Probably no solution for this but mine is resetting every time I turn it off i.e. wants me to reset the date and time and some settings change back to default. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Hello This cameras have a tiny backup battery for holding time and settings. It is a C1220 3V battery. Look at the bottom of the camera near the lens. I had the same problem with the A450 which I bought this week. With greetings from lower Bavaria
