Lol Ben saying “let’s do more of these babe” in the end got me rolling😂😂😂
I have had quite an unhealthy relationship with food. Your food videos are quite inspiring because of the joyful, aesthetic and loving relationship you have with food. Food is for nourishment and joy. It adds something to life and is not a substitute for valid emotional support and mental help. Sorry if this was a little heavy, I just get really happy seeing your food videos, Jenn. :")

This video is very fun, and it's so funny to see the French breakfast (I'm french) : a croque monsieur is never made like this but with slices of bread (toast or sour dough), and we certainly never eat it for breakfast (we have it with salad and fries for lunch lunch) ;-)

As a French person, I just wanted to say that you pronounced the words very well ! For your information : -For pain au chocolat and croque monsieur, we don't need to say croissant after ☺ - we don't cut the croissant horizontally but vertically so we can put things inside like butter, jam or Nutella Hope it'll be helpful 🥰❤

I was literally just looking at her sweaters. There’re so pretty!!
Awww I’m so happy you have included our Japanese breakfast !!! The purple seasoning is called YUKARI - it’s a sour plum flavored seasoning for the rice. And the purple pickled thingy is probably pickled cucumbers 🥒 and it’s purple because of the Shiso leaves. ITADAKIMASU!!!!
God bless Jenn for going right into the video without a long intro. ❤️ I liked the Japanese breakfast the most, it seemed so healthy and fresh.

We mexicans just have everything in tacos. I'd say besides the rice in the morning, everything is pretty accurate. Chilaquiles are a classic weekend food as it implies frying the tortilla, making the sauce and it's super filling, while the huevos rancheros or in any sauce, would be more of an everyday meal. This was a fun vid, also, I'll give you a 9/10 in the pronunciation!
you should do pt.2 and try arabic breakfast😍 there is an arabic restaurant in LA called “hasiba falafel” , they specialize in falafel and shakshuka which is the most two common breakfast dishes in middle east

Omg your comment made me hungry. I’m Filipino and have a really great Arabic friend and her food is so bombbbb
not me tryna eat vicariously through Jenn’s videos :’) the Japanese breakky looked so good 🥺
really love the fact that you showcased different local restaurants because we know how difficult it can be in these times 💗 wholesome content!
With the hate, vitriol, and violence happening around the US against AAPIs, I just wanted to say that even though I’m not Korean, it brings me so much joy to see you celebrate the foods of your culture. Growing up, I can look back on how I actively suppressed that as an Asian American who definitely got told they had “smelly food” as a kid. These days I’m trying really hard to appreciate the food of my Filipino culture more, and seeing the unabashed joy you take in cooking and eating food from yours is really inspiring right now. Thanks for being such a positive light for the community and also enjoying food from many different cultures ❤️
Let's not sleep on the fact she on-brand with her makeup/outfits for each country too!!! We love the attention to detail Jenn!!
Great content Jenn !!
omg this video is everything!! and thank you for showcasing vietnam’s food in this video!! i was smiling so much when you were eating pho and spring roll 😂❤️
I REALLY love your v-log! Your vibe feels like clean and fresh morning! Thank you for giving us more motivated and happy weekend! Love from South Korea🤍

omg i’m so happy to see both my cultures vietnamese (although i’ve never been served vegetarian pho traditionally haha) and mexican seen in one of these types of videos :)) love the representation
Wow, I am French and have never seen a Croque Monsieur croissant... not sure how I feel about it. usually I always go for plain croissant or pain au chocolat. But again that type of breakfast is like once a month max!

I'm also a French and I agree that Croque Monsieur croissant do not exist in France. I think the second most popular french breakfast is "baguette tradition" with butter and jam (croissants are very fatty, we eat them more on Sundays or when we are on the move), we don't usually eat salty in the morning (only my father eat cheese and delicatessen at breakfast, and it disgusts me...)

Yiiiiih I got so excited when you announced the French breakfast! I had never heard of a croque monsieur made with a croissant haha but it did look tasty! Almond croissants are just amazing, so creamy and rich! And pain au chocolat has to be my absolute favourite! For the Mexican huevos rancheros and chilaquiles it’s actually meant to be that texture:) it’s nice when it has a bit of crunch but for the most part that’s typically how it’s served. I’m hungry now!

I was about to comment the same thing haha! I second this statement 🤗 the star of the show is the salsas and the chile! Those have to be on point for the dishes to shine. Okay I’m really hungry now haha

I'd actually say it may depend on the family. My mom hates the mush, so I grew up having the chilaquiles fresher, with more crunch and some areas that had absorbed more salsa. It wasn't crunchy to the point of nachos though haha So yeah, I think it's personal preference.
@dianahidalgo7020
3 жыл бұрын
Yes I was gonna say the same thing, the texture is supposed to be that way :) But as someone said on this thread some people (not a lot) can make them crunchier according to their personal preference, but overall it’s supposed to be soft :)

She is an inspiration, no cap. ❤️
A bit of french insight 😀 the name croissant is linked to the shape of the bakery (like a moon croissant). So, the 4th one with chocolate is not a croissant but a « pain au chocolat », or chocolate bread! Besides, a croque monsieur is only made with sliced bread, and not with a « pain au chocolat » base 🤓 Happy you liked the french brekkie :)
I love this video jen! Hope you'll make a series of it, would love to see more countries featured 😍
Very nice video! Thank you 💛
the outfits, the food, I love everything you put out! Can't wait for the next book club meeting btw :)

Loved this video, Jenn! Made me so hungry lol.
such a great way to promote small businesses! love u jenn
I love how Ben says “I’m the real winner here” 😂🙆♀️
I loved this video! I would really love to see what people think is a typical American 🇺🇸 breakfast. My best guess would be cereal 🥣, waffles 🧇, or pancakes 🥞! Also I think India 🇮🇳 would be cool just because of how diverse the culture is. Maybe you could try that out next, and if you do I would suggest trying something from Northern India and Southern India, like half and half. ❤️😊
Please make this a series!!! 😍😍😍
Loved this ! We want a part two 😍

I am so happy today Jenn Im, as many Vietnamese people, I am really proud of my country's food. Beside eating Phở and Vietnamese spring roll with pork & shrimp , there are lots of yummy dishes you should try for your next typical breakfasts such as: Banh Mi, stuffed pancake, Shrimp jumping pancako, Quang noodles, Hue beef rice noodles, Rice noodle soup with beef, Hanoi Kebab rice noodles, Crab rice noodles, Lotus delight salad...I also love eating the vegetarient foods, They're not only keep our body more beautiful, heathy but also help our planet and fight against the climate change. Thanks for your meaningful video in the International Happy Day. Wish you and others friends always be peaceful in our soul and be the owner in our life :) Let's cheer! A friend from Vietnam.
