  • @DaisyCreekFarms

For the soil is 1:1 ratio. For example, 1 gallon of hydrogen peroxide to 1 gallon of water or 1 liter of hydrogen peroxide to 1 liter of water. Use only when needed if you are seeing browning of the leaves or stunt growth in plants or you compost was not quiet finished when added to the garden. This is not meant to be used consistently as it kills all microbes, good and bad in the soil. Good microbes however, quickly thrive after hydrogen peroxide decomposes.

Daisy Creek Farms ... I am very confused. I bought 2 bags of mushroom compost dirt for my flower bed and have seen time grayish fungi mushrooms grow. It suppose to be healthy. This is a new vegetable raise bed. Maybe my dirt has to settle in the environment. The dirt came from bags. I started adding seeds but all look stunt. I don't know if it is the lace bug that did this. I thought fungi is suppose to be great for the dirt and plants. Of course there are different fungis. But the fungi in the dirt bags are suppose to be good yet I don't know if this was good for my plants. If it is mold in the dirt then for sure it is bad. Adding raw garlic should be great to kill fungi and mold. What is your intake about this mushroom controversy?

Thank you for this informative video. This is my husbands profile I am watching on. With great heartache, my husband of 25 years passed away last month, May 2022. He was an avid gardener, master canner, professional grade chef of our home. I have made a promise that I will do my very best to keep his garden growing. I have learned so much through osmosis helping & watching him, but I know I don't even realize 50% of what I know yet, it will come with trial & error. I found numerous bottles of hydrogen peroxocide in the inside house garden cupboard and wondered what it was for. Your explanation was very helpful & easy to understand. I will add that to my growing knowledge and am appreciative that you brought more of my husband's gardening secrets to life for me. We were blessed to have 25 years together, but they were all too short. I am getting comfort in digging into the soil he worked, finding his writing on years prior garden stakes; and adding my tears to each planting this year. I subscribed to your channel to hopefully gain more gardening experience. Thank you from Gardener, Jim McNulty's wife, Dannella

I certainly hope you read the bottle, it says "for external use only". Your beans are now unsafe for human consumption. Be leary of people who recommend products that the poison control center warns against using internally. Always contact the poison control center before using a product on your garden that will ultimately be eating by human. As a rule of thumb, If you don't regularly pour hydrogen peroxide in you pot, when cooking your green been, don't add it to your garden. Rather, always build up your soil before planting, by making sure that your soil has enough nutrient to support plant growth, and routinely have your soil tested at a lab.

I have been grateful for this video many times. Just pulled it back up to double check my ratios on the solutions, but wanted to give a sort of shout out/testimonial while I'm here. I've found the soil treatment (even when I couldn't afford a full 1:1 and had to do a more dilute 4:5 mixture) to be effective at arresting root rot and even systemically controlling (nothing really cures corn smut; although corn truffle sauteed in butter is pretty scrumptious fare) advanced fungal outbreaks in my garden. This works, folks!

Oh I'm glad somebody brought up the beneficial bacteria, with organics, the bacteria culture is important to break down nutrients that are accessible to the plant. too much H202 will kill those cultures off, and you might need to use a compost tea the next day for reviving those things. Unless you are doing a hydroponic grow using Synthetic nuts, which are readily available for absorption.

Huge thank you to your videos! Watched a few now and you're not like other youtubers. I've noticed so many content creators, especially with gardening/plants, make videos that are 15-20 minutes long and in the end they're only explaining how to do one thing, you have to literally sit there for 15 minutes to find that one little piece of information you need. A large portion of these videos (not yours!) are just time wasting and babbling on about things unrelated to what you want to learn. I live in a very dry climate and assumed this was for insects. I didn't do a garden this year because we are moving....to a rainy ....very humid climate. I am a native to my dry Mountain desert. Where I'm moving, I'm going from zone 5 to zone 8. Planting times are different. They do have some freezing rains but everything will be different. I have been worried about fungus. This year in my area, we have actually had rain and humidity. I have fungus on fence posts, tree trunks and had mushrooms coming up every where. This is exciting and I can't wait to try it!!!! I look forward to watching more videos ❤❤❤ Thanks

My guess is he must troll around to a lot of videos just to leave a hateful message. Pay no attention to people like this. They obviously have a psychological problem.
