We would call this 3+2 since you're only using the additional axis for positioning.

Agreed, for this application it is just 3+2, this specific part did not require Simultaneous 5-Axis

Man watching this Doosan struggle with keeping its motion remotely smooth on simple moves makes me appreciate my Mazaks so much more lol

The programming looks far from optimal, regardless of what machine its been run on just look at the retracts from 5:30 lots of wasted motion.

Why is like taking its time to switch from place to place ? Speaking on the first operation, its like loading idk its weird

@run-cnc single block would have a pause after every movement, it looks like it stops every pass. Most likely, he's using a subroutine/subprogram and has an m1 at the end of it

CAM is Computer Aided Manufacturing, we use it to write our CNC code (programs)
