Thank you so much! If anyone is having trouble locating the file please enable hidden files (make sure to disable it once you've moved the plugins into the appropriate folder) BTW is there a way to add a margin in the text box? I liked the idea of simply clicking and just typing so the box grows to the appropriate size which makes the text easy to center using guidelines but the outline effects such as shadow get cut off if they go beyond the text box. Is there a way to fix this? I just thought it'd be faster if I could just set the default text options to a preset with a large margin buffer but the text layer to image size it a good option. Thank you!

I got them all, but one. Don't remember which one , but one would not compile.. Thanks for the toys and it is not even Christmas.

these should be included as standard in gimp

Agreed. Some of them might get adopted in the upcoming GIMP release.
