I love this video. I've been painting for a while, but sometimes it really can feel like such a big and scary task to sit down and do a painting. There's just so must pressure to make it good. Doing these little flower exercises has really helped me loosen up and take the pressure off when painting and just having fun again.

Lovely guidance and I especially like that you've done some of it in real-time painting, he he, this was one of my mistakes when I first started watching years ago, I lost confidence because I thought you were painting your strokes much faster and taking less time. I love the first flower the most and then the Lilac. Do you know, my favourite video of yours so far was the coffee and cookie card, I am allllllllways tring to paint a good white cup but I end of layering on too much and trying to add too many details, then I wish I'd left it right back at the start with the simple first few brush strokes, ahhhhhhh. xx

@@itsdaksha Maybe this will help: draw an oval, draw 2 small half circles midway on either side of oval, this will tell you where to place the eyes in side the oval, draw 2 curved lines in the oval at the height of the top of the ears, then draw 2 curved lines directly under the previous curved lines leaving space for 2 eyeballs. Then when drawing the nose the bottom of the nose should be on the level of the bottom of the ears. The mouth should be in little space under nose with more space left between mouth and bottom of chin. I hope this is useful to you.
