Same for me and additionally I never prepare for meetings because I am overwhelmed or I feel parallelized and in the meeting itself my ideas are coming into my mind again but because I am unprepared I am not able to underly my ideas with arguments and details. So I lose everytime.

@waelsallak6522 It is inspiring to hear when people make a positive out of what could be negative esp after schooling & a lifetime of poor feedback. Early life experiences mould you. I read recently that autism is hyper-focus whereas adhd is hyper-distraction?

Before I get started watching the video, I wanted to "drop a bit of dopamine your way." ;) I'm 60 and I have ADHD. Omystars. My son had it and back in the 80s, teachers blamed parents and said they were bad moms. Stupid stuff like that. I always swore Robby (my son) got it from his dad. And then, I realized, I had ADHD. So many topics you discuss I think give me a bit of Dopamine bc it feels so good knowing someone else has the same damn things, lol. I'm a new sub and I want to learn more about how to get Dopamine. Thank you for your hard work making these videos. They are so helpful. And I know, it is hard work. I'm writing a book and it's horrid bc I can't get motivated. Do you have any ideas for getting motivated for writing? I'm also working on beading projects, adult coloring, making jewelry. lmao Think I might be a bit here and there and everywhere???? And lastly, the short beard on you looks sooo good. You are good looking anyway, but the beard is on pointe. Thanx again.

I like hyperfocus under pressure a lot.. but the line between not enough or too much pressure is very thin and sometimes I begin my work just a bit too late to feel overwhelmed during maybe 1h.. but then I calm down and just take a piece of paper to plan carefully the time I have left. I just need to talk to myself to hear my voice and it helps to calm me down. Then with the plan I have done I can work better and the pressure is just right as it needs to be to begin my work with the good energy and hyperfocus. It is good to plan the next day in the evening before going to bed, so it helps me calm down before going to sleep. Thanks a lot for your great content🙏🏻

For years and years I had bipolarity treatment which Ive ended up quiting all meds. I have a strong belief that I've been misdiagnosed. With your all insights and videos, i can tell you that my all problems (which you call them superpowers) match with your explanations. Now I have fobia to go to hospital again :( they call my impulsivity as manic episode, my lack of dopamine as depression:( I have scattered-mind and multiple projects in my hands that I struggle to manage. Now Im gaining some hope towards life with your vids :) I can handle and embrace my differently working brain. 🎉🎉🎉

I was misdiagnosed as bipolar for years. It really did nothing for my ADHD with the wrong medication. Tell your doctor what you have been experiencing lately and since childhood. Mention your childhood. Maybe take a parent or relative you knew as a child, to explain your actions in childhood.

@deliobaoduzzi6450 You’re right. Completing a small project from start to finish would be really satisfying. However, every time I begin outlining a new project, I remember an unfinished tutorial I need to complete first. This realization shifts my focus and makes me feel behind, causing me to feel overwhelmed and abandon the process altogether. I've been stuck in this frustrating cycle for weeks. But I will try to do my best again, thanks for your reminder I appreciate

I could not relax Monday until I made corrections first to relax my mind enough to study vocabulary. It's sometimes a struggle when our thoughts remind us of something else.

✨ Summary: - ADHD leads to lower and more volatile levels of mood, motivation, and focus due to dopamine deficiency, making it easy to get sidetracked by quick dopamine hits from activities like social media and junk food. - Creating sustainable systems for natural dopamine, such as cold showers, exercise, and healthy foods, can improve mood, motivation, and focus over time. - Open communication about ADHD tendencies, like ghosting friends and loved ones, can strengthen relationships and prevent misunderstandings. - Introducing new activities and environments can help maintain interest and motivation, as ADHD brains are stimulated by novelty. - Working in sprints rather than trying to maintain a steady pace can align better with how ADHD brains function, leveraging bursts of intense focus and motivation to complete tasks efficiently.

JFYI: the home page of your site has a broken link for the "Course =>" button. 404 error. It has a space in the link, but if I delete it, it still gives a 404. I don't know where to report this, so here we are :D

Hello! Just stumbled upon your video. What are you basing these statements on? I read in your description that you are speaking from your own experiences of having ADHD for 26 years, but are you sure these things apply to everyone with the diagnosis? Maybe you could clarify at the beginning that the statements reflect your personal experiences, and while some might relate to what you talk about, others might not. I will look into more of your content, but I would prefer a less sensational vibe in the video (music, pictures, etc.). That is just my taste. Other than that, thanks for the content.

Put myself in Environments that I am interested in? You mean, go to a park that I really like? Explain? I love being in Nature btw. So, if I am writing something, I need to be in a park? Or if I need to calculate my budget, I'd have to be in the park? Get it? I sometimes wonder if I just don't understand because for the longest time I have to force myself to work where I can, not where I find many things of interest, like a hawk flying overhead. Which will divide my attention.

I remember my childs brain as such you described in maths. Meanwhile I just experienced so many social related traumatas due to my way 8f different open minded thinking that I suffer learned helplessness and lije a societal alien. I wish I could my brain rewire to my childhoods state befor all this unhealthy societal programming started. I would love to do thrive 1000% in my natural abilities and talents. So how xan I train my thetastaes and leave thos shitty boarders of limitation and traumastates? I love to play, play, play....so who else?❤❤❤

Why's no one talking about how the title says 7 superpowers but he only mentions 6 in the video. And he doesn't even explain the 6th one in the video. Maybe he got carried away with one of his superpowers.

This is a relatable moment for the fifth power I remember one time it was like around one30 o’clock. My mom told me get ready. We’re gonna go out at three. I was thinking OK let me put a load of laundry in I decided to play Minecraft. I thought I can play this for 20 minutes and then I’ll go check on my load of laundry. I play I get focused two hours go by and I didn’t even realize it. My mom was like are you ready? Let’s go. I was so confused. I didn’t even know what the fuck was going.

Its a recording of a live event. I was there, and there is plenty of free information that isn't that commonly known unless you've been listening to lots of long Hallowell lectures. Then he starts pitching his new community at founding members price and guarantee. I joined right away, it is a living community of a thousand people already. I'm enjoying it immensely.

I am diagnosed with ADD , but I feel like my mind thinks more like the line going right and then left and then straight and all the other ways in the maze instead of a short cut “line” going to go doing one thing then pick in up a cup and remembering to do the dishes then washing a ni fe then remembering to pre cut the fruits and vegetables for tomorrow’s work lunch etc etc, I also thought that me asking “WHAT IF” was actually my diagnosed anxiety. Mmm 🤔🤔🤔😐🫤😯🫡🤭🫣🤯😱😭😖😣☹️
