Kudos to you for making this video possible and sharing it with us on the internet. As a mechanic I find you very informative clear down to picking up the tools and the test drive. Most important is the reminder to set the torque wrench back to zero. 🙏

Man did this video save me. Heard a weird noise coming from my 06 ram this morning and found that the bearing for the idler pulley had essentially exploded. Just finished installing a new one thanks to your video.

I apologize Bob. I moved recently and did not have internet at the new house until a couple of days ago. I intend to be more consistent moving forward.

Taco Casa! I love me some bean burritos with mild sauce. Thanks for the video! Mine was to the point that the bearing was overheating and tossing metal shavings around lol.

What did you remove to make space. And was there a washer on the engine side of that pulley or is it just the spacer.

The fan shroud is missing in my truck as well as the belt driven fan. I am using only electric fans on my truck. I did not see any washer behind the pulley that I remember

so still have the factory radiator, but ordered fans off of Amazon. I don’t remember the brand of the 12” fans, but I have a Hayden 16” fan on it as well. All of them are doing pretty good so far.

@@JayRays1truck I love the access you get to the belt and pulleys without the belt-driven fan and shroud in the way. I wish mine had the electric fans too!
