@@Enjoyyourcarry yes. The one on the right side. I can fit an altoids mint box now. I did it because the slip was kind of hidden and the space too tight. Thinking of cutting the compression straps too.

Thanks for the review. Deciding factor, and I agree with you main compartment to small for my purposes, if I figure out what I need it for!😊 but I am leaning towards the Pakt. Cheers Vancouver Island Canada.

I did the same thing!! I swapped the straps. The lv6 is really a perfect edc go back but need alittle more room

Nice review. I too wanted to go smaller, down from my LV10 so I purchased it in gray. Looks great. I modified mine as well. I attached a simple sleek sling and cut the compression straps off the sides. I want to love this bag but it is just too tight a fit for my EDC. Especially for off body carry. I pack a Glock 19 and an extra mag. Once that’s in there, it’s hard for me to root around in the bag. And I am a rooter, constantly digging in my bag. So back to my trusty LV10 that I have carried for 3 years.

I totally get you. I was really excited when this bag came out and it’s fun to try and organize for edc, but after you end up loading everything into it that you want to carry it becomes too crowded and cumbersome in actual use.

Nice review, thanks! I bought the LV8 some days ago (in blue ^^) and i really like it! The LV6 is to small for me, the LV8 is perfect in size (and the possibilities to organize your stuff are great). Bigger packs i stuff too much, so they are always too heavy at the end of the day. I bought an additional pouch for a water bottle (the Mammut Lithium), that's much better than something on the bottom. In the CCW compartment i attached an organizer from Helikon where i put my Pencils etc., so i have plenty of space in the main compartment. I had (and still have) a Mystery Ranch Full Moon, but the LV8 works much better for me overall. For me one of the best slings i ever had, and i had too many of them ;-)

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like a really good setup you have going on. I wanted to really love this bag and up to this point it’s not been deep love lol, but I wonder if I need to reduce some of what I have in there-although I don’t really think it’s overkill when I look at it all! Idk. I want to make it work in a way that I can utilize the internal organization of the main compartment better.

@@Enjoyyourcarry Maybe you should try a 5.11 MOAB 6. I hade one, and it's definitely more spacious. On the other side it looks more tactical *and* it may ride a little bit awkward on your back. Nevertheless it's a really good sling. At the moment i have these items in my LV8: my Smartphone (normal size), a wallet Jack Wolfskin First Class, Maxpedition Mini Pocket Organizer, a box for spare glasses, Mechanix gloves, small soft muzzle for my dog, several pens, glowstick, some shtf stuff like water tablets, survival blanket etc., my Klarus XT2CR, USB loader + cable, hankies, sanitizer, a Mossy Oak multitool and some other smaller stuff. And, of course not always, the Lithium holder + Nalgene bottle. Everything fits perfectly, but i had to fumble around a little bit and try "locations" for the items out. 🙂

Nice review. Thanks. It was a little hard to see at times because black bags in a dark environment are hard to see. Perhaps you can use brighter or more lighting (not overhead) in future to brighten it up and cut down on shadows. I'm currently considering their Overwatch 16L briefcase but this looks nice for a small bag.

Thank you. Yes, usually I do my reviews during the day when the natural lighting is good but this one was shot at night and it made for poorer quality I guess. Thank you for the feedback!

Excellent review as well. How would you compare this one to the Pakt bag in terms of size, usability, etc.? I got that Pakt 5L based on your review and am currently looking at the LV8 and LV6. Any comments would be appreciated.

The lv8 will hold significantly more, but in terms of comfort and usability I definitely prefer the pakt and the lv6. The lv6 is only 3L though, so ultimately it depends on how much you need to carry with you.

Do you know what the internal dimensions are? I’d like to get it for a camera with a somewhat long lens (lens is about 22cm, 24 with camera attached), but not sure if it’d fit (think like a awkwardly shaped 40oz tumbler, maybe little skinnier lol)? Thank you for the video, it was quite helpful otherwise:)

Thank you for the feedback! I don’t have the bag anymore to measure the inside but based on the length you’re describing and knowing the external width dimension is about 35cm, I think it will fit.

Interesting. Does it carry/feel like a backpack or sling? Is it accessible on-the-go?

It def feels like a large sling, but I was carrying it more like a crossbody at my hip area with the different strap. It’s a lot easier to access when worn like that, imo.

I think the teal color you mentioned is called Blueblood..

It would be really tight. The mini is the only size that would fit comfortably.

@@Enjoyyourcarry I have a 5.11 rapid sling bag 10L, a little bit smaller than lv10, but it doesn't hold my e-ink tablet very well because the bag is bigger and the tablet gets pumped back and forth whenever I hold the wrong side of the bag. It wouldn't be a problem if the screen wasn't too expensive to replace. Would you recommend if I should just get lv8 and stuff the device in, or get lv10 and get an extra cover for it? The device is 23.5 x 18.5 cm
