I only had a few things left to do on this covered wagon made from a Jeep FC-150, but I got distracted and now I have more work to do! It was fun, though, and that's what really matters. Merry Christmas!

You never know what a child will cherish as a memory. One of my most favorite memories of childhood was riding on the back of my Paw Paw's mule Henry while he broke the ground for the garden in late winter/early spring. I was around 5 or 6 years old the first time I remember doing it, and I can tell you that I thought I was the king of the world holding on to the collar of that big old Belgian mule! I can still smell the fresh broke ground and the steam coming up off of Henry's back after he got heated up. From then on, it became a spring ritual that I would look forward to every year. Yes sir, you made memories with that ride, but then, I get the distinct impression that you work at building memories for your young ones, like a good Father should.

I’ve been living vicariously through KZread for almost a year, now, following a knee injury and repair surgery in last January’s snow. Rehabilitation and physio have got me walking and even gently running, but not back to working or having fun, yet. If it wasn’t for this channel, rainman ray, robot cantina and a few other broadly similar channels, I’d have lost the will to live, long ago. Ben, on Tasty Classics, makes very long videos, two or three times a month and he has a similar approach, but very different projects and obviously far less space to work in or store stuff in. I had no idea there was this amount of amazing content constantly getting uploaded. I never moan about the reruns and garbage on tv any more. Now I find tv is a distraction from the stuff I actually want to watch. Thank you for being part of my salvation/corruption, depending on your viewpoint. Not sure I could have made it through my enforced inactivity without you.

It was the 1949 "double dually" pickup that caught my eye in a video thumbnail late last year and made me a subscriber. In the year since then, this has become my favorite channel, and the channel itself has doubled in size. Don't let "big youtube money" change who you are or how you do things. Congratulations on the success!

The early cordless drills were terrible. However I used one every day in the mid to late 80’s. I was a TV repairman, they worked great as a nut driver for removing the back of TV’s. GE TV’s had a ridiculous number of screws holding the back on.

There is the guy who had one in his boat and forgot to put the drain plug in the transom before launching the boat. He was the poster boy for what happens when it gets wet! lots of smoke and steam as the electronics fried. he did salvage the cells and reused them after a thorough cell by cell test and inspection, but the rest of the unit was gone. Electrolysis dissolved all the metal on the circuit boards!

Useless comment until I actually watch. I'm on number 8 jump pack/air compressor/200 watt AC power/2 X 2.1 Amp USB ports that failed from leaving outside, battery failing, air compressor melting at 20psi etc but what really got me was having it go bezerk while everything was off when a heavy fog came off the lake one night when I was working outside. It's a relatively cheap unit, $109 last time I checked but I like being able to program the pressure, usually 20 psi at most, walk away to continue another task and know it turns off as I'll either forget or not want to have to watch a needle move. So far I've had no problems exchanging for a new one with a receipt. This year was great and I'm lucky to write this from what was a dream just a year ago, a cabin in the woods and woods that are now trash free, until I find more anyways.

Hey James, Just a couple things: 1). The brake shoes will be fine after they dry off. Dot 3 brake fluid is NOT OIL so it will dry off. Even in automotive class we were taught to wash brake fluid off brake shoes with mineral spirits or parts cleaner and reuse them on customer cars. 2). Silver Powder stop leak. I have stopped coolant leaks with multiple brands of silver stop leak. Some are liquid some are powder. My favorite was from Standard Oil, which became American Oil Company, Then Amoco, then BP Amoco, now it's just BP. They had a Silver liquid product called Atlas Block Sealer. I used to tell my customers I guaranteed it to work or they didn't have to pay. With their engine running, I'd put it into their radiator, fill it up with coolant and then put the pump up radiator cap/ system pressure test pump on it and pump it up to 15Lbs. The customer could watch the leak stop right befor their very eyes. My boss didn't like when I gave the guarantee, he said if it didn't work I'd have to pay for it, but it never failed me and those customers couldn't pay the price fast enough. So, on something like a Go Devil, I'd have no hesitation. Look online and you'll find several. There are also copper powder products out there nowadays. Thanks for the videos, they are always fun and Merry Christmas to you too. ben/ michigan
