Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

This is so sad. I love this show but they really butchered it. All the low-level pyro that used to take place at the castle is gone. That makes it so much less exciting. Even the aerial bursts aren't as choreographed as they used to be and there's less variety of shells. Also, I don't know who this new narrator is but she does not make as much of an emotional impact as Corey Burton. The WORST part though is they shortened the length of the show. Come on, Disneyland. Do better. For a show that is played only once a year, they need to pull out all the stops. This feels like a free display I could get at the local park - not the experience I would pay for at Disneyland.

Idk why Disneyland butchers the show every year. WDW has the same exact show but they pull it off so much better. I think the best 4th of July show Disney puts on is at EPCOT though, from the music to the choreography.

well there was a clear reason to lower the pyro since there was a fire in the show Fantasmic that burned the dragon prop.. you really cant blame them for just looking out for the safety of others, workers and houses around the park

The show used to be massive with a huge bang, I've worked on local city shows with larger finales than this. 2007 was the last time they had a finale that was worth dealing with the 4th of July fireworks crows. The song respectfully was also much better. Actually carried emotion. Now it's your run of the mill copy paste 4th of July show.

Wow, you guys are probably watching a lot of these fireworks show. If you didn't mention that some were cut off, I would not even notice it and would think it's still a great show.

Wow very weak compared to Magic Kingdom's version.

Well, the park is surrounded by residentials so lots of restrictions. Also the diameters of the fireworks are a lot smaller than Florida's. I must say though Epcot was better than MK.

​@@gissnericOn the 4th of July, quite honestly that shouldn't matter. Southern California becomes a practical war zone every year. I get that Disney has their reasons, but the show used to be so much bigger. This isn't about the safety or comfort of the neighbors. This is about budget.
