Just in case anyone is wondering why this looks weird and the pacing is odd: Its a secondary show track trying to sync to Wonderus Journeys' fireworks.

@@kiwikiwi2483 Wonderous Journeys is playing in the rest of the park and the fireworks are designed for it, they made a star wars track to try and make it seem like a SW show from GE.

@@himynameiscorey it’s not really possible to work preexisting music into a preexisting show sequence without it seeming weird. Most likely the next fireworks show will be designed with the Star Wars version in mind.

For a show that’s syncing with an existing show playing around the rest of the park, I give props to Imagineering with working with what they have. I suspect when Disneyland debuts a new fireworks show from scratch, they will also take into account Galaxy’s Edge.

ya... but all people truly want is a live stage show, light drones, some fireworks, and drones that look like space craft flying around.

I had this idea in my head back in 2019. “You know they should just use the fact that fireworks are going off to their advantage.”

I think it's pretty cool you can have an alternate soundtrack to Wondrous Journeys, though it is a little clunky in it's execution. Some projections on the rocks would probably be an improvement.

It’s blatantly obvious that this show is attempting to sync to wonderful journeys. That being said, I’m glad there’s an alternative spot to view the fireworks.

Celebration/Endor music should be playing with fireworks.

Ive had this idea for years, to provide a star wars score for the disneyland fireworks for fans who would rather experience the show as a star wars experience. This should ALWAYS be on offer.

I did not expect the Inner Space reference. A surprise to be sure and so on

oRrrrRR... they could have just created a show for The Season of the Force altogether that would ALSO play at the castle so that this one didn't seem so weirdly paced & put together. I'm sure the precious Wonderous Journeys would be fine going away for a month.

Season of the force seems to be taking a back seat to Pixar Fest :/ they were advertising Pixar like 2 weeks before the actual start date and nothing in the parks mention season of the force.

Just imagine this show with Drones! 😮

I was there last night excited to see it…but then they cancelled it💀

They should add some projections on the spire which could aid in story telling.

Obviously not enough 'foot fall' going into GE. Not enough spending but hey, let's push up prices on EVERYTHING.

Was at the opening last night and I saw Kanye from the back - but no fireworks! What happened?

Hmmm, I saw this playing out better in my head. I guess it goes to show that you can't force something where it was not intended. In hindsight, I wish they didn't do this. It was a favorite spot of mine to catch the fireworks without a crowd. That may change now and it was all for a show that didn't quite work. Was a cool attempt and I appreciate the effort, but they definitely needed some sort of filler between the fireworks besides theme music. Basically, keep moving, nothing to see here.

I would be very surprised if the next brand new fireworks show is not designed in tandem with a new Star Wars version

It's supposed to be timed with the regular Disneyland fireworks show so when there isn't anything happening with it you don't have much

Hogwarts Castle did a much better job handling projections, fire, lasers, searchlights, fog and drones ALL IN ONE show!

Cameraman isn’t good at his job and this display is garbage. Bet if this was in Paris there would be drones and lighting with video projection on the spires. Big Fail in my opinion

It adds something small to GE that was def needed. What did you expect? It's just playing off the fireworks from the castle.

@@joemazz958Well, that’s because this isn’t a new show. The pacing of the fireworks works really well with the original soundtrack heard in other areas of the park, but when they compiled this new soundtrack to play in GE, they couldn’t perfectly sync it up. Still, I fell like they did a really good job. The fireworks are made for the soundtrack heard in other areas of the park, and making a completely new soundtrack with a similar pacing to the original would be incredibly difficult. They did really well for what they had.

@@eb6mh For what they have? What they have is enough money and technology to do whatever they want. What they also have is too many Disneyphiles that will cheer and applaud and gush over everything that Disney does no matter how bad it is. If they're going to do something then do it right.

Ouch. Its a known fact that WDW fireworks are superior to DL but this is not even themed to SW. Would be better to just do a projection show on the spires. Cheaper to. None of this feels like SW

They probably could have explained it better in the title, but this is not a SW fireworks show, as much as it is Star Wars music playing over the existing firework show. I love HEA, but putting Adventureland music over HEA for guests that watch it in Adventureland, even if done well, would look similar to this. In my opinion, they did a really great job trying to sync a completely different sound track to the existing show.
