Fun facts that you may not know about 4minute : 1. Skrillex made few projects with K-Pop artists, most of the works were with YG artists, but he actually made this song for 4minute. 2. In “Crazy” there always a member (Gayoon) that don’t lift her leg on the chorus, even on live shows she didn’t lift her legs, the cause was because the high heels were too heavy for her and she almost couldn’t move during the song promotions. 3. Back in 2014 there was a big fanwar between Sones (SNSD) and Blackjacks (2ne1) fandom, and both groups were competing against each other in a music show, but in the end 4minute was the one who won and at the time the fandoms made of it one of the most funny moments in kpop.

+Nich B I was annoyed when Cube interfered with the Roll Deep reactions and covers, which is excellent promo that they couldn't buy, and only did one full music show setup (that I saw), but they're not making those mistakes with this that I'm seeing. I don't know how the music business works in Korea, but seems diff from North America.

+Doug guoD Asian music industry is a lot more competitive and tougher,being a different culture and lifestyle and all. every block you'll see a promotion of some idol. when 4Minute's "crazy" came out they had a lot of promotions, hell a lot of coffee shops had their image on normal coffee cups. Also having a member like Hyuna that's had a history in the music industry (being an original member of Wonder Girls in JYP ent.) they're actually really popular than most international fans see. Maybe not as popular as other big acts like SNSD or 2NE1 but they're up there.

+tommy tom they performed both Hate and Crazy, you can tell because in the beginning of the crazy performance you hear "I hate u". They did perform the whole song of Hate but not Crazy they skipped to the chorus and went on from there.

The problem is, who is going to replace the badassery that 4Minute represented in the girl-group world of Kpop? Once 2NE1 never came back, 4Minute became the group that could kick the guys' ass. Who's going to fill that role now?

React Brasil I'm sure they just hate it and say bad things about it because it's in another language, and because they are all asian. It's honestly disrespectful and stupid to judge a music genre just from those 2 aspects. For 2ne1 CL is working on solo activity thats all i heard but i heard Dara was renewing her contract with YG or something but i might be wrong with some things 😅😊ㅠㅠ

The samples here may be simple, but they are used smartly, and the development of this song alone deserves an award. Plus it's the use of the girls' voices and a well-filmed MV. I didn't notice now many good voices were in 2-3 gen until we lost them😅

It's 2023 but still so good 4 minute ... 2nd gen group is the best era

KPOP doesn't feel the same without 4MINUTE.

4minute said on their showcase that their contract renewal will depends on the success of this album. Ji hyun said "This album's success will have a huge impact on whether or not our members will resign a contract. That's why we're working on meetings with the company. This album has to do well so that we can do well." Honestly I have a mix feeling about this. In one side I'm afraid if they don't renew their contract with cube they'll disband like Kara and I have to admit that cube is one of the nicest company on treating their artist. But on the other side I'm also sick of cube's suck promotion which made 4minute doesn't get the attention they deserves. I want them to spread their wings and experience different things. I wonder what will they become if they're under YG, SM, or maybe JYP. Maybe they're not as nice as cube but they do promotion a lot better than cube. It's up to them tho. Just wish that they won't disband and will continue as a 4minute even if they change company.

Honestly I do want them to change company too, as long as they stay as 4minute. I'm sure many company would like to take them. 4minute work with cube for almost 8 year and if now they suddenly said that their contract renewal depend on the succes of their album, isn't that it means they also aware about cube suck promotion? I know they're family and they've been together for a long time. But maybe they want to shine now.

This song is getting recognition these days cause it's more common and normal for girls to do concepts similar to this. Looking back at what was popular when this was released shows that 4Minute was ahead of their time and definitely influenced the insurgence of darker concepts in girl groups late 3rd gen and 4th gen. Everyone still appreciates a good cute/happy/girlfriend concept, but I think the public has really grown to appreciate a good cool/dark/badass concept in girl groups as well.

They are not ahead. They are just in a sht company that never prioritizes their artists over money. if they are in YG this song will be for sure off the charts. Just look at Gidle they are again going down fast even though they have the best rapper in this generation of groups.

When time pass away, old groups that are out of the three big companies its very hard to keep the move. 4minute sadly Cube is one of the worst companies to deal. They only wanted money and thats why 4minute disbanded. The CEO of that time didn't see the sales as well as Crazy era so the CEO with 51% of the company put the disbandment ando they only kept Hyuna because she at least for herself could sell 10k albums (like Roll Deep era)

@@iu_y6610 Cube didn't disband 4Minute for CLC (Cube's 3rd Gen group), 4Minute disbanded because "only Hyuna stayed in the company" (and they only wanted Hyuna because she can sell a lot of albums) and I read somewhere that the girls are actually planning to re-sign with cube for 4minute but Cube released a statement that 4minute is disbanding because Hyuna is the only one who renewed her contract
