FOR REAL! New K-Pop sounds so westernized! If you hear blackpinks album, you'll know what I mean. It's not even as nearly as good as 4minutes B-sides. Where are we EVER going to find new K-Pop B-sides like 4minutes "you know" "say my name" "black cat" "invitations" etc?? I feel so lucky for being exposed to this era of K-Pop 8 years ago. I'm back here again. Nothing beats the old classics. When I was in 7th grade this song made me feel like I could conquer anything and today I'm a doctor. I love you 4minute. For being with me in my journey. You live in all our hearts forever ♥️

Maybe your favorites did. 4minute is hot right now. SNSD didn't hit their peak until 2012-2013 ... and they even made in American TV (Letterman and Kathy Lee). Its evolving ... moving towards something that won't be purely Korean or even Asian thanks to KZread (even though the 'tube gives East Asians almost zero respect). They are about to break into the US market and it is popular in Europe. US artists are already starting to pick up on Kpop trends and I'm pretty sure that 4minute or F(X) .... maybe one or two of the others will break out soon.

MrBabylonandon I think ***** was talking about like the quality of the music rather than just popularity of kpop. Like the dances were easy to catch on to, most music released in this time period was always catchy, there were certainly a lot less group so you didn't feel like you were leaving any one out. And in a sense you felt like a true 'kpop' fan in because you actually knew all the groups out there. Not gonna lie, good music is still released. Really good music. I guess it's just a nostalgic thing :) And yeah I do miss when the older generation was kinda ruling

OMG! That makes me laugh seeing Hyuna's earring falls off her ear, it never gets old. I still miss this era of 2nd generation K-Pop idols, it was the best.

This is one group I never would have wanted to break up, them and 2ne1 I really like this whole group.

4minute miss that. with catchy songs, good lyrics and above all, EQUAL division of lines! at the beginning of their career, Jihyun had the same weight as Hyuna, and just see, she has a beautiful voice. but in recent years, seems to only look at 4minute Hyuna, and do other sexy choreography. 4minute want the old back! :( :(

馬君 It's because she has charisma. I recently saw her at a showcase in Stockholm with my brother who never really liked her or 4Minute. He thought she got too much attention and he didn't think she was that hot as some people may portray her. The fact that Hyuna doesn't sing live bothered him a lot but getting to meet them and take pictures with them and seeing them live changed his mind. Watching her perform even with a lot of back-up was so much fun and we stayed until after the fan photo event to say goodbye. Gamblingsforfools no my dear. u r heavily mistaken. this woman has privileges other girls have not. she had a "hit" with pornographic and obscene lyrics which would have ended the carreer of any other femal singer, but she survived this scandal unscathed. then she was without any reason nominated to appear together with Psy, so that people all over the world would get the (wrong) impression of her being THE representative kpop girl, which she isn't, or anyway there are ten thousand better ones. then there was the "troublemaker" project, again without any reason. she can strip on stage and there is no complain. others shake their hips and show the navel one time and at once there is an outcry this was "pornography". a very important man in the government holds his hand over this woman. only he knows why.

Oh please. I know what I saw and honestly, I do understand why Hyuna had so many fanboys. Exactly what hit are you refering to? I thought "Come In" by 4Minuite was quite daring of Hyuna and Gayoon, especially Hyuna. And exactly when has she been stripping? It's not like she's doing something that hasn't been done before. Maybe by korean standards somehow, but TBH a lot of K-pop girl groups try so hard to be sexy. The reason she was in the Troublemaker project was probably her popularity. I mean; Beast and 4Minute are from the same label (another reason since the labels like promoting their own artists), who would they pick if not Hyuna who already had a previous solo hit? She may not be the best singer of the group, if you can call her a singer, but she's good at dancing and people notice her first.

Remember when South Korea was blasting this song over the boarders to North Korea? And that's why this song blew up? 2010 remembers. We remember it well.

4Minute was such an successful group ALL OF THEIR SONGS ARE SO LIT.

Hyuna and I are the same age (92line) but I was so envious of her looks, swag, and charisma here. From that moment I knew she's my bias. Oh yes, I don't forget about the girls too. Gayoon with her killer voice, Jihyun with her feminine self, Jiyoon with her raps and tomboyish looks, Sohyun our cute bubbly maknae! Forever 4nia! I wonder if they're still in touch with each other.

I've loved 4Minute since 2012 and so I lost my mind when I heard this and "What's your Name" in Battlefield Hardline. I probably just stood in the room the radio was in for about 8 minutes just listening to the 2 songs. It's the greatest thing ever.

Can people seriously not compliment 2nd gen groups without bashing the newer generations? It's really not that hard.

*I MISS THIS STYLE OF 4MINUTE* it such a waste that 4Minute throw away this kind of concept now. seriously, they rock this kind of style. i bet they gonna be more popular if they stick with this kind of concept. not many can rock this kind of style. their recently concept is just a no no no FOR ME. i will always keep faith that 4Minute will return to this kind of style.
