札所１番から３４番まで全ての道程を徒歩で歩きました。
I walked the entire route from Fuda-sho No1 to No34.
門をくぐると、広大な境内に立派な本堂が現れます。牛伏堂とも呼ばれ、前には牛伏堂の名前の由来となる石像が立っています。
本堂は秩父最大の寺院で、エレキテルで有名な平賀源内が設計をしたと伝えられています。
Once you pass through the gate, you will see a magnificent main hall within the vast grounds. The main hall is also called Ushibushi-do, and in front of the main hall there is a stone statue derived from Ushibushi-do.
The main hall is the largest temple in Chichibu, and it is said that it was designed by Hiraga Gennai, famous for EREKITERU(hand-operated electric generator).
今回は札所7番の青苔山・法長寺をお参りし、巡礼道を通って札所8番へ向かいました。
美しい秩父の巡礼道をお楽しみ頂けると嬉しいです。
