Thanks a lot for this Video man, this really helped me understand my Options. I was afraid to take the Bus in Thailand, I thought it was going to be really bad, this showed me it is actually really nice. The Airlines want to Charge you almost $100 for Checking your Bags, The Train Charges the same price for Sleeping Cars as an Airline Ticket, now I'm thinking the Bus is really my Best Option. Today, 23 Dec 2023, I am now travelling from Bangkok to Phuket. It starts at 18:30 from Bus terminal -2( Sai Tai Mai). It is a double decker bus. Ticket price 1, 128 Thai Baht per person. Bought the ticket from 1st floor of Bus Terminal.

I'd guess you haven't traveled around Thailand very much. Every little town looks the same and few highways go through scenic areas. This trip was just pure retardation. Must have been sponsored by the bus company.

Before you plan for bus, must remember, take enough food with you(bus provides 1 bottle water, 1 piece cream bread and one small chocolate drink). Out of 12 hours journey, they stop only for 20 minutes for free dinner(obviously menu is not good at all) after 6 hours beginning of journey.

Took this exact bus last year and going to take this again in 8 weeks ! Dec 2023 ! Can't wait ❤ Kob khun khap.. awesome vlog. So many happy memories

Nice video and well narrated with good information. You were good with the time stamps until you got to the end and didn’t mention the arrival time! We know you arrived after 6:20am but what time did you actually arrive at terminal 2 station in Phuket?

5th December is public holiday, so I don't recommend to get the ticket at the bus station on the travel day, cuz there might be no ticket left.

The located is on Sombat Tour Company head office and second stop to get more passenger at Southern bus terminal

It's prohibited to drink alcohol in public transportation in Thailand.

This luxury bus service even has a pretty bus attendant. Nice touch and service. Peak season airfare can be much more expensive. I think bus service fare is fixed, non dynamic pricing. Good alternative since no train track to Phuket

If the trip is longer than 4 hrs. There will be 2 drivers. ( by law ) Law: Max driving is 4 hrs / driver. Then if the driver want to continue, he must take a rest a least 1/2 hour and can continue no longer than another 4 hrs.

@@theparitt I think you are wrong on that one, there is no digi cards or tacho graphs in buses or trucks I live in Thailand and talked to many drivers. They drive as long as they want that's one of the reasons that Thailand has one of the most road deaths in the world no training long hours driving falling a sleep at the wheel etc

Is that with THAI smile? i saw that deal but i was put off by their reviews saying they cancel your flight and dont process a refund, some people have been waiting for 2 years to get their refund. Apparently they are going into administration and have filed for bankrupcy
