Great video!! my son watches your videos and we go to various places to watch the trains. How did you get so close? is it a public path?

Great video, some lovely shots! I've seen a lot of traffic to and from this quarry but I've never been anywhere near it, where exactly is it? Is it just outside Buxton?

I wouldn't say just outside Buxton, the nearest station would be Chinley

Just over 3 miles from Buxton station, but only 1.4 miles from Dove Holes station. Peak Dale is the actual location to the north-east of Buxton. The railway name is Peak Forest after the village further to the east.
