Kagurazaka is a district in Tokyo that is well regarded for its high number of quality restaurants. It has the look of a traditional Japanese neighbourhood with its many narrow alleys, low rise buildings and many traditional Japanese wooden houses once you venture off the main road. In this walk, we will walk through the entire area during blue hour, with some added rain for the best possible ambience.

Went there in 2019. For me it's the best city in the world. You even don't realize that you are in the biggest city exist on this planet. Just breathtaking and amazing. I will go there few times more.

I used to work at a hotel in Chicago and served many people from around the world staying with us. I got to interact and meet a lot of Japanese people, they are some of the most polite, friendly and very well mannered people I have ever met in my life. I pray that I get to visit Japan one day a long with other parts of Asia. Ty for showing us a part of Japan. Blessings.

So do I! I'm always genuinely excited when I hear that someone has booked a first-time trip there because I can already picture their future happiness. Japan will be 100 times better than you are currently imagining...the things you will discover that no KZread video has ever shown you. Good luck saving and hopefully this wretched virus will burn out within the next 2 years and by then, not only will international travel be back to being as close to 'normal' as possible but woo, you'll have all this time to save your spending money. :D

Gorgeous! It's the perfect time to walk around Kagurazaka. Early evening is also perfect for wandering around Ueno's market area, also Asakusa and Nezu too. So many areas can develop a new atmosphere depending on your timing-- and I don't mean the izakaya alleys, I mean certain streets or neighbourhoods. I'd LOVE to hear of other people's suggestions for areas that they find are MAGICAL at very specific times of the day/night.

Do more of this "scenic photo spots in Tokyo around the station". I used to love hitch off stations in Tokyo and enjoying some ramen shop or curry rice near the station, and then get back to work when in Japan. Gotta love to do that again (if I can go there again after the pandemic) and making itinerary from your curated video

I honestly can't think of an American city that I would feel safe walking around alleys at night. What a different place.

LOL yes! That's what makes Tokyo so exhausting: I stop to look at EVERYTHING. When I get back to the hotel I'm so tired from absorbing all the fascinating and beautiful things. :)

I would love to go to Denmark! Soon as Covid burns out and things start to ease up travel-wise, I'll book a trip. Aside from the obvious choice of Copenhagen, where are Denmark's 'hidden gems'? What other town has history, atmosphere, culture and beauty? City or country. Thank you!
