I commend you for drawing attention to the plight of the people, but nothing can be done if they do not want help. If officials clean up the area...they are picking on the homeless. If they provide shelter without mental help which they can't enforce, then they will turn that place into what we see here. If the police arrest them for drug use, jail does nothing for addiction when they are powerless to force someone into rehab. It's a vicious cycle. So, what can be done without the assistance of those in need willing to help themselves? Nothing. This is a scourge that economics cannot fix.

It's not Boston's fault that people suffer from substance addiction, the nature of addiction is such that people push help away, and frequently relapse

Well let me see Mr. Singh if I can help, all of the cities in the US of A have been run by the Dumbocrat Party for the last 60 years or so. So give that fact, maybe the voters should change it up a little, yea just maybe but they won't..

@@cannabiscaitlinlivingwithGBS I was born and raised in Boston, the area in the video is called The Methadone Mile. In the 70s the court would send heroin users to a clinic near City Hospital to receive their ‘methadone’. The area has always been called the Methadone Mile.

@@MichellleAustin yeah, so does this Bostonian, I was actually homeless, addicted and a resident of Mass Ave. I don't need to Google is, maybe you should Google what its nickname is, Methadone Mile, is also called the Mile, Mass and Cass, the South End, shall I go on. I lived on Stafford Street in West Roxbury. The people who where actually on it and lived it, call it the Mile. Yeah this Bostonian has time today too. In the video it was called Skid Row which is false!

There's a shopping center right there, they usually steal outta there. Also in Boston there are a lot of sneaker heads, they might be homeless and/or addicted but our kicks are always on point!

That's awful. It's so much worse than when I use to commute there. The Boston folks look like good folk mainly who have been displaced by man's greed and corruption. It's hard to believe people would rather have a trashed city than put up the homeless. That's just evil and disgusting.
