Hello, can you tell me, how you used rycote baby boll for sony pcm d100? I don't understand how, because hole diameter is too small for sony pcm d100, isn't it?

Thanks! I just wanted to see how rycote's baby ball gag windjammer performs. I have rycote's windjammer for PCM D100 but it struggles at times with wild costal wind.

Just the baby ball gag windjammer (without a ball gag blimp). I have 4 different windjammers that I use with PCM D100 and this one seems to be outperforming the rest. I live in a costal city so it's quite windy for the most part. Rycote Windjammer for PCM D100 is great too, tho it struggles with medium and heavy wind.

Phil Michalski ok cool! I was looking into it and it seems pretty large for the d100, do you have to tie the wind hammer around it or anything so it doesn’t fall off ?

It doesn't fall off. It has a thingy that allows you to tighten it at the bottom. I also have a little bit of acoustically neutral foam to make it slightly firmer (less saggy ;p )at the top. I'll be uploading more examples to my website in a bit.

Wonderful test. Which model of the baby ball gag windjammer have you used for this recorder? How is it attached to the recorder? There seem to be a few models in the BBG line. Thank you for sharing.

You wouldn't believe how many people asked me that. So, I needed something that would work like a blimp. I came across that thing - www.movophoto.com/collections/windscreens/products/movo-wst-r30 - it's cheap, doesn't really do much on it's own but it's made of tactical nylon - that means it's not soft and would kinda work like a ball blimp, creating a nice air buffer between mics and the fur. So Rycote gag fur + movo

Is that the Rycote Portable Recorder Suspension HD, which they suggest to use with Sony PCM D100 or is it the regular Rycote suspension?

It's the HD one. I've tried it with a regular one as well and it worked just fine, maybe a tad more wobbly compared to HD one.

What windjammer is that? The Rycote Baby Ball Gag Windjammer that comes from a search is not what you have on your D100.
