Beautiful? the base game looks way better cause of the stabilised color mapping, this reshade is just ruining colors and over sharpening textures it would honestly be unplayable

Is the horse movement analogous? I mean, if i use controller and press the analog trigger 30% 70% and then 100%, then will the horse also move at that speed?

@@abcdefgh6121 there's an option in the settings to make horse turn with camera or turn via controls, choose horse relative instead of camera relative.

It’s just different colours which are way too contrast. The main graphics are way more realistic

The color saturation is a little too high to look really photoreal but it does create excessively moody landscapes. I love this

That’s a bit of a contradiction because mood normally is a result of desaturation, or a one tone tint. Higher saturation usually makes the colors farther apart and different, which is the opposite of what creates mood. I'll take that as you saying this is versatile enough to do both

This mod is so insanely detailed that I would be spending the whole time trying to walk around the muddy patches, just like in real life. That's what I call an immersive experience

3:20 these stormy skies look amazing!

It's the minute details that make this game a masterpiece. The horse realistically deforms and displaces the ground foliage. The brim of Arthur's hat, which in most games would just be static, accurately bends with the rise and fall of the character. The horse complains when it has to nose through difficult sapling branches. Arthur tucks his chin low when riding into strong wind. The horse's tail hairs blow with the wind in the same direction as the debris flying by. Just to name a few.

these are really just a few, the attention to detail in this game is unmatched and i doubt we will see a world as immersive as this soon... maybe GTA6, if they put the love back into it

What about the archaic game design, the repetitive mission structure, the lack of any form of challenge, the lack of interaction with the open world ? This game is just a technical prowess, but gameplay-wise it’s extremely poor

The Tall Trees scene is easily the best, clarity in the foliage and textures and the lighting is also great

Now this is a good mod instead of putting puddles everywhere and giving it crazy reflections everywhere

I have been gaming since the early '80s. It has been fun watching the evolution of gaming graphics. We are getting closer to the day when games don't look like a cartoon. I wouldn't call this photorealistic, but the game looks amazing, even without the mod. Nice video.

Did you see unrecord yet? That game is pretty photorealistic, some of the animations are questionable, but if you showed it to a 70 year old they wouldnt be able to tell the difference between that and real life.

This makes me play the game one more time even though I have already played it 5 times.

Each and every frame of this Game could be desktop wallpaper , it even beats the graphics of some movies that's how insanely good it looks. Red Dead 2 is a masterpiece I hope modders keep this game alive since Rockstar abandoned it.

If this exists, then imagine what GTA 6 will look like with all the lights and weather effects.

I just love this game.

For people who don't know, this is a reshade and basically just a picture filter that can change saturation and do post processing on a generated frame, it also has access to depth of that frame. Reshaders are cool if you want a game to look more vibrant or convey a certain atmosphere, but be aware that the intention of the developer probably wasn't for the grass to look very green as an example.

As a History buff and family tree professional, I love this game.... I feel like I get to experience some semblance of what my/our (American) ancestors experienced (of course without real world pain/starvation/feeling). This makes it all that and much more immersive. RDR2 is one of the greatest games ever made for so many reasons.

It is meant to immerse you into the world. You can achieve that even with graphics on mid if you love the whole setting.

The detail and range of colors in Great Plains and New Austin looks pretty fantastic. I think it's a quite a bit oversaturated and the whites sort of washed out in every other setting (although the mud in Tall Trees looks incredible), but it'l just goes to show how visually stunning the game already is, right out the box.

I mean if without a mod its beautiful already. Red Dead is the only game that make me just ride a horse around the countryside for hour and still find a interesting thing, without barely give attention to mission. Trust me , 2-3 hours is not enough for this game 😆
