I think its just as important to mention Paul Carrack. His career has been just as prolific. Wonderful voice and composer.

And the invisible man who has played with everyone from EC the Stones and Mad Dogs and English Men ect Chris Stainton add Doyle Bramhall and the reason this video showed up in my feed Robben Ford, people use the term under rated to offen but Robben has to be the greatest guitar player that nobody besides players know ,there is a body of work that would take me an our to jot down, from Miles Davis to Michael McDonald Charlie Musslewhite to Joni Mitchell and everyone in between and an extraordinarily humble man who I believe stays out of the limelight intentionally.

Sometimes, it's easy to forget what a fantastic, percussive rhythm guitar player Robben Ford is. Great rhythm playing here by RF.
Terrific solo from Robben smile of approval from Eric - some seriously talented musicians on that stage! 🙌🎸🎶🙌🌟💖

@@lantose I don't know that Robben and Eric have ever played together ,it's about time if not Robben has played with everyone it seems like and Eric has obviously been around, credit to Doyle too an old buddy of SRV in fact Doyle's father played drums for SRV before Clayton.

Actually the only thing I recall Robben and Eric having in common before this was working with Glyn Johns ,RF and the Blue Line Handful Of Blues an amazing album Glyn even played back up on one song, I say album because I have a large collection and they're making a big comeback, hang on to your vinyl friends.
Eric’s face at the end of robbens solo says it all. A master enjoying a master
Love watching Robben getting his groove on and dancing around 😃
Beautiful solo by Robben. Rock on!
Robben tears into one of his beautifully crafted blues solos, drawing you in with interesting lines, ripping an exciting second half, and cooling down to the groove just in time. It’s pretty standard for him, but what was delightful was how much positivity he was sending, having a good time, and pleased he could make the guys with him proud.
It took too many years for these two to finally come together on one stage. Two of my all time heroes, bravo and please MORE!

What a great addition to Eric and Doyle Bramhall II. Doyle is a very accomplished guitarist as well who constantly gets overlooked

fender dream team!
Robben is a true gentleman and is very gracious towards local crew. A pleasure to be sure.😊
First time I have seen Clapton and Ford on Stage together. The left handed player laid down some scorching riffs too! Good stuff
Love Eric's big smile after Robben's solo.
Ero al concerto di domenica, grazie per la condivisione!!! Serate fantastiche di vera musica, un raggio di luce contro l'immondizia sonora che stanno diffondendo sempre di più in giro...Eric Forever

What a Wonderful video !! Eric and Robben !!
This kind of stage exposure is long overdue since Robben’s brief moment with Miles Davis - Robben was ecstatic throughout and what a solo he played - a little of everything and perfectly measured to the groove. A lesson to us all - you get your chance, you take it and give it your very best. It’s obvious Eric loved his solo - the look he gives the other guitarist like “man that was good”!

Everyone knows they are on stage with one of the best in Robben Ford...
Yes, Paul Carrack is one of the greatest most UNDERRATED singers this world has ever heard! Robben Ford: A TREASURE! However, Doyle Bramhall II, who I love, seems like he's "calling it in" on this tune. Still, a GREAT rendition of a great song!
❤ onore al grandissimo Joe Cocker ❤️
sigh....if this happened in the 90s, when these 2 masters at their peak
Wish i was there!! Great show
Robben played to the song and tore it up!
I think Roben Ford is nuts… the Jim Carey of guitarists
Great stuff!
Awesome 😮
Il est où le bonheur ❓ Chercher pas il est là. Merci les gars.
heavy groove
Ford and East I believe know each other best.
Great to hear these guitarists like this jamming. Hope to hear them play together properly in a less souped up song sometime.
Love doyles tone he is so good
The main value in this was the good will and vibes, all very workman-like parts, but the friendliness was like the sun coming out on a grey day.
Glad to see two Legends play on stage, it’s like dream .!! Plz do more !!
Brilliant amazing guys together they speak and it speaks to me ❤
Robben seems to have the time of his life here, so full of joy
Really great performance, sure a sonority feeling. Thanks for share.
OMG 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Yes nice to these two great players together different styles but all in the name of the blues! Nice to see robben getting some well deserved recognition hope they record something together!
Glad to see EC looking healthy again at near 80 years of age he's doing great and even did a guitar solo for Ozzy's latest album
Presente !!! Di fronte al palco!! 🎉
My session mate Wayne Perkins played bass on Cocker's original version. Wayne was a great guitar player but he played bass on our Jerry Wexler-produced sessions down at Quinvy where I was the house guitarist. They needed a bass player to fill in on this session up at MSS and called Wayne to come up and cover. Wayne said he had no idea about what to play on the track, so he just thundered along and let Beckett and Jimmy J carry all the riffs. Great track. Wayne went on to play in the Gap Band with Leon, and played on the Stones "Black & Blue" album and toured with the Stones briefly.
!! probably the last guitar heroes, with other greats now older, fuckin times now for good music and guitars, ciao from Italy
Great Band.
I wonder if guitarists don’t want to play with Robben because he sets a standard of playing that is hard to equal.
Una stupenda band! Eric ha la stessa voce di 40 fa,
A concentration of most of my favorites, I whish if they came to Hungary, too
Get into the studio men!!!

COOL
Great to see these stellar muscians cooking albeit some distortion on the bass sound.
Why "joe--Cocker-Cover"? Yes, he sang that song. But Chris Stainton, the man on piano, is the composer of it. As well as other songs of Joe Cocker.

I'm assuming Robben done it when he opened up for Clapton. When I saw Clapton last year Jimmy Vaughan opened for him and it was great to get to see him but it would have been really awesome to have seen Robben with him. Marcus King came out for the High Time We Went encore and I about lost my mind but was literally one of about 3 people there that even seemed to know who he was. LOL!

Why are Clapton's shows done with only house lights?
Why does Eric have a brightly-lit, Spartan-like stage set-up? Doesn't even use colored lights...

Robben Ford o.O
"oh Robben Ford is really good"
Eric Clapton couldn't carry the briefcase of the guy who carries Robben Ford's briefcase. It's like comparing Fred Flintstone's car to the Space Shuttle
Great video quality but sounds like the mic is at the back of the venue and picking up all kinds of sound bouncing off every hard surface. Good band though.
Robben’s solo was the best by far. His Tele sounds great.
It would be nice to see some of the black guitarist included. This is Afro-Amerian music. Love them both. Just saying...
Even Doyle cutting up...on the fret board at the end. Hmmmm
Robben Ford should find a new stylist. Just say NO to hair dye and skinny jeans! Yes, I know, he can play guitar as good as any. :)
