gurubaani is full of raagas. amazing how every shabad is designated with a certain raag. this one hajoori raag

lol bruh these guys are like world renown singers, what is the SGPC supposed to do so make raagis like these guys lol. We have such good raagis, like Bhai Satvinder Singh, Bhai Niranjan Singh, and Bhai Harjinder Singh. These guys are masters at their crafts and families who have singing going back generations, they dont come around often.

This is true kirtan with proper raag as specified in the Guru Granth Sahib for this shabad. Also, there was a huge number of raagi's and kirtaniya's from the Muslim community before partition that did kirtan at Shri Harimandir Sahib, Amritsar and other Gurudwara's. Ustad Shafqat Ali khan's family has taught many sikh students classical singing. Their family history with sham chaurasi gharana is very old. Also, his pronunciation here is perfectly fine, he's just singing it within the bounds of the raag.

@sahib Sandhu, I think you might be a bit misinformed about the origins of shabad kirtan and what faith(s) the first practitioners belonged to. The Sikh/Amritsar tradition of music was undoubtably influenced, and progressed by muslims until the arrival of SGPC and partition.
