Scuba Diving at the incredible hard coral garden of Rangali Madivaru dive site in South Ari Atoll, Maldives. This incredible coral garden that covers many miles has regrown quite quickly over a period of four to five years due to it's new no fishing protection by the Maldivian government. This single taken shot captures the beauty of this healthy coral garden in glorious 4K HDR HLG (best viewed on HDR compatible devices).
Footage taken on Sony A7Siii in Nauticam housing, with Nauticam WACP-1. Ambient lighting only, custom white balance using Keldan -1.5 Red Filter on Lens.

@@scubalens In my honest and personal opinion the Huvadhu Atoll is my favourite as channels provide all sorts of big stuff and lots of sharks 🦈! Combined with the inner reefs which are almost untouched as there are hardly any resorts there. I'm also a lover of turtles, and the green sea turtles 🐢 in Huvadhu seem to have the cleanest most beautiful shells (better than anywhere else I have seen them). Hope that helps 👌🏼
Hi What tools do you use for proper exposure and what is the ev scale

I use the histogram and 95% zebra's when recording the footage. Then in Final Cut Pro X it's possible to balance the highlights and overall exposure using the HDR tool for Luma saturation. Hope that helps.

I use back button focus and keep it held on throughout the whole shot. However I have dialled back the focus hunt and other auto hint features as otherwise it’s too sensitive to search for the next subject it wants to lock onto.
