Pardon, but do you know what the buildings are constructed of? I doubt cinder/concrete block and, due to height and other restrictions, seriously doubt wood. Is it steel framed or curtain glass? 20:30-40 - Oh, my GOD, I can't believe it!!! A shrine in the middle of this super techno, industrialized area!!! Hidden though it is, knowing it's there, surrounded by pipes and super electronic stores and products and super-techno-everything, is wow, absolutely fantastic! And I love this area anyway! Akihabara with its cybernetic Heaven on the one hand, and this spiritual, mysterious hidden spot that shelters a shrine on the other hand! It simply gives me goosebumps. Love it!!!

@@user-sx5um8bu2t Wherever you are from you must have some really nice cities too. Actually the only places in the world besides the underdeveloped world that do not have nice cities is the USA and Canada. You can thank the desire to live in suburban sprawl for that. Our cities need to be fixed, people need to want to live in them again. The USA is the richest country in the world but it does not show up the same way. It shows up as over scaled freeways, immense suburban sprawl, massive skyscrapers, big inner city megaprojects, but nobody lives there, tourists tend to notice all the urban decay. In theory all our cities should look something like Tokyo, but they do not.

I'm back for the HDR version. There's 3 places I always automatically MUST go when I'm in Tokyo: 1. Akihabara, always. 2. Nakano 3. Some random coffee shop near Matsubara station. Been there dozens of times, can't remember the name of the shop, but I can tell you exactly where it is and the name of the owners lol. Some of the best coffee I have ever tasted my entire life. Once I hit all 3 objectives, then i can venture out to different areas of Tokyo before I leave.

@@VIRTUALJAPAN It's called amnichi i think, i wonder if it's still there. Super tiny shop, about a block away from Matsubara station. There's another one i like the next station over at Shimo Takaido called Coffee & Roaster that I really love too. Theres a few more local coffee shops throughout Tokyo that I have no clue what their names are that I have been to a few times, but I can remember exactly how to get there lol.

Nice video! i feel like if i was to find myself alone in this big city, i would be scared shitless, since i don't know the language and don't think can communicate with people in English as not many of them speak it. Large cities like this can give you a panicky feeling but at the same time are fascinating and riveting.
