@@getosuguru999 Definitely go if you can, and save up for a longer (2-3 week) trip if you can. Last year we snowboarded in Yuzawa, did a night in Osaka, and spent the majority of the trip in Nihombashi & Ikebukuro (Tokyo). I've got family there, but I'm not a citizen, so we're locked out until they decide to take visitors again... Oh, and while it may be tempting to stay your while trip in one area, _force_ yourself to get out there and see whatever you can. And for souvenirs, hit up a department store and buy normal, everyday items you'll use back home. You'll see them every day and smile long after you've returned.

Tokyo at night is beautiful in nice weather, but the rain just makes all that color bleed together so nicely. It's like the city was made for HDR. If you wanna know what a camera's capable of handling, just take it out at night in Tokyo in the rain...
