Just come home from Pattaya 3hours ago. I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights but mostly stayed at the amethyst hotel which another brand new hotel but a bit more luxurious has a bit facilities, it has restaurant and has a gym and rooftop pool and it’s just across the road on soi 15

That’s good to know, I’m booked at Amethyst in June. Which one did you prefer?

Yes Amethyst is a good hotel, I have a video on that too but it is a bit more expensive but if you will stay for a month you will pay the same price as the Debua hotel.

​@@markdumbrell2618 Both the hotels are nice and near each other. The Amethyst seem to be better but also more expensive. If you are coming for a month you can get a deal from them and pay as much you would have paid for the other hotel

Nice hotel but is it guest friendly?

There are a very few 5 Star hotels that are not guest free. Just remember when booking the hotel you should book for 2 people. The price is the same for single or 2 people. Many make the mistake and book the room for a single person and when they get guest the hotel charge them extra and they think the hotel is not guest free.

Whilst well located for bars, restaurants, entertainment etc, it is NOT "5 minutes walk to the beach" as your text states. I would suggest it is more like 15 minutes walk to Beach Road.

Well it may be max 5 to 10 min. Walk from the hotel through soi buakhao 15 to Avenue and cross the 2nd road to the other side and walk through soi 12 on 2nd road to the beach road.

@@globaltravelbuzz Yes, that is the shortest route, which I have taken many times. You would struggle to walk to The Avenue in 5 mins, let alone Beach Rd. In the heat, I maintain a comfortble walk would be 15 mins to the beach. Always best to manage peoples' expectations, rather than anyone thinking they can be on the beach in 5 mins!

@@padthaipaul9849 Yes you are right. I walk fast and it take me max 5 to 10 minutes. I keep in mind to add few minutes more for those who may walk slow
