Fun fact! sometimes, there's two employess out in the open when you get on, if you listened in at the beginning you heard two taps. That's a signal for the actor to bring their arm out. has been a running gag for Dante's for years!

This is probably one of the better dark haunted rides I've ever seen.

I especially like the hand that swings out at the first. This is a great dark ride!

That arm at the beginning got me.

This is the best pier dark ride I’ve ever seen. You can tell they gave their all with what they had available to them, I love it

You should've been here before Castle Dracula's time. It was just like this, with a dungeon boat right and walk in spook attractions. It burned down because of two teenage idiots who set it on fire for the insurance money.

Between this and the Carpetbagger, I'm glad to see Wildwood getting a little more attention. Though I wish Dracula's Castle was still around. That place scared the crap out of every kid on the boardwalk.

Castle Dracula was the best boardwalk attraction ever. Really wish it was rebuilt.

Cool looking dark ride. Very consistent and well maintained throughout.

This is a classic ride. I remember this ride being there when I use to go to Wildwood as a kid. I would never ride because I was absolutely terrified. I imagine they updated the inside but the front looks the same.

That's a really great ride! The lighting and effects are almost perfect. Moving the viewer from light to dark and back again is genius.This design and production is well done. Good work!

First dark ride I ever rode. Fun fact, I was part of the team that installed the fire alarm system in the ride during the early 2000's complete makeover. Wildwood will alway hold a special place in my heart.

Quality ride! You can tell they put a lot of TLC in this attraction.

The dark ride is ok the drop is shallow and trimmed the special effects are out dated and 9$ is way to pricy should be 4$ but it is fun for what it's worth

@@nickdambrosio7416 the special effects are not dated. They recently updated this ride just last year, and a majority of the Animatronics are brand new.

new facade has grown on me quite a bit. i was mad the zombies were gone but it really does look good as one big cohesive piece

I rode this when I was a teenager in the early 80's. I remember the old look it had. I like the new makeover better. My wife and son and I rode this a few years ago when we visited Wildwood.

Dante's Dungeon is spooky, but a fun dark ride! I'm surprised that there is a live actor in this ride, it almost scared me at 0:31!

The arm is just a prop but there used to be a live actor in there many years ago. He held a rubber snake in my face and I smacked it out his hand. 🤣

I remember when it was called Dante's Inferno and they had the dragon spitting smoke. It was a lot cheesier then, but this redo is awesome!!!!

Great video pal, I jumped out of my skin when the hand came out 😂 Is this built by Pretzel rides who built the Ghost Train at Blackpool Pleasure Beach? The track and doors look almost identical as does the exterior facade(Apart from the different theming), plus the cars look very similar too.

This is a great ride good job your props are asome how did it take to set everything up looks like you put in a lot of work love the detail and the outside work good job great ride

Was this ride purchased from Luna Park, in Coney Island, Brooklyn? It looks like the same dark ride that was at Luna Park, but it was called Dante's Inferno. The ride was removed a few years ago. I miss Dane's Inferno. It was the ride I looked forward to getting on whenever I went to Luna Park.

This was my first ever Pier dark ride and I was terrified

I always wanted to ride this and never did. Mainly because I don't want to pay for tickets 😂 but now I know what it's like and don't have to! Wildwood is the best!

This ride is old. I'm 40 and I remember this as a kid here in the UK. Same cars with the 3 faces on the back but different colours and the exact same track layout but with a few different props. I'd be interested to know who makes these.

That’s a good quality ghost train, looks like they spent some money on it. A lot of rides in these sort of locations aren’t particularly well done. The swinging arm just behind the door really made me jump the first time.

Looks wicked but I'd have to pass. I went to Blackpool 2 months ago for my 29th birthday & took my partner on their version (he's never been on BPB before). I've been going since I was 4yrs old. That was the 2nd time I decided to ride that ride. I was clinging on to him for dear life. Not so much because its scary (I was actually laughing) it was because I am absolutely terrified of the figures. I'm terrified of animatronics. Anything larger than me (not humans obviously) scares the living hell out of me. Maybe it was some of the films I watched as a kid or maybe I'm just a big baby either way, never again will I ride one of these rides 😂
