16 more realistic in gameplay, 17 nicer but personally i prefer better gameplay over graphics

can you score easily in fifa 16 or 17 ??

Gameplay > Graphics. 17 looks nice on a grand scale yes. Bt that’s gameplay on 16 is much smother and obeys the laws of physics better. 17 they are too worried about animations and it looks like the players are gliding instead of actually running on the ground. I don’t think frostbite is meant for sports games unless it’s 1player.

Apart from DICE, I am not seeing that EA's other studios are able to use the Frostbite Engine correctly. As gamers we should acknowledge this and just stop buying badly made games.

i dont understand how fifa can justify costing so much when the graphics are trash and the mechanics are not complicated. Its as expensive as the witcher 3.

Fifa has always been worse then Madden, they should have hired the same ones who do Madden to do the Fifa characters. In this case save your money and get Fifa 16, I think it looks more polished even the crowds and players are more anatomically correct. Ronaldo's hands are so small in Fifa 17 compared to Fifa 16.

Unfair? The Witcher 3 cost a shit tonne to make and they sold so many copies. Why do people keep treating it like some low budget indie game? The game cost $80M USD to develop. Mass Effect Andromeda, an AAA EA game, for example, was half that. Not to mention that the cost of living in Poland is much, much lower than Canada. I don't hate CDPR and I don't give a shit about FIFA(I'm just here for game engine interests) but this CDPR dick sucking could be toned down a little.

This channel is amazing and pro when it comes to the content, quality and the stuff on their, really good!

The Fifa 16 grass looks better but has less color , Fifa 17 grass is greener but the graphics are terrible in comparison with the Fifa 16 grass . For the rest Fifa 17 is better .

The main difference is that the fifa 16 colour contrast is more darker than fifa 17

16 is darker but 17 is lighter.but all over 16 is better.cuz it has better definition and details.

If EA fix excessively smooth gameplay and set the brightness as more bright (like ENB patch do), it will be fine.

I hope Frostbite does a better job with the grass and fine details . Then you will not be able to tell the difference between Fifa games and real life .

I watched this many times over the years. The change to Frostbite was one of the best things EA did for the fifa franchise. It brought a new level of realism into the game. The gameplay is really smooth and it never looked better. Fifa were already good football games and the new engine took it to another level.

this post makes no sense. the only thing frostbite changed was the graphics. that is it. frostbite has had FIFA animations since 2011 (since BF3). so nothing but the graphics should be different. but idiots like you think that since the engine changed everything else changed. no that is wrong.

Fifa 16 to me looks better in the crowds and the Ronaldo character looks more lifelike. His hands are small in Fifa 17 when you compare them side by side. Fifa 17 the goalie net looks to much like plastic compared to Fifa 16.
