can't agree more. it also has the best collective gameplay. from crafting pouches out of animal skins and learning new ability. I finished 3,4 and 5 so many times and I'm playing 6 right now, though the graphics in 6 is amazing (albeit still cartoonish) but the game mechanics lack so much comparing to 4. driving is also atrocious in 6 and the way they spread some perks on armors rather than passive skill set is a downgrade

in 3:09 you aimed at them while they were in a vehicle but if you aim at them while they are not in a vehicle they will actually react to you and say something like "Watch it". same thing with far cry 4 as well

In far cry 3 and 4 npc react if player aims on them or throw a stone in their hitbox. But they do it only while standing on the ground, like in 5 or 6

Seeing the mangrove area in Far Cry 3 toward the end of the game brought back so many memories. Each game truly has its own special nuances that come with the environment it takes place in.

Far Cry 3- a new formula that worked, and everyone loved it and had such a blast. Far Cry 4- a reskin of FC3 but with polished and perfected details. Far Cry 5- A different approach which didn't lay well for 3 and 4 lovers, but after a while it gets to you and you realize it is great. Far Cry 6- A game very different from all of the above, yet without polish and detail 4 and 5 had.

Why do every far cry games have to be like Far Cry 3? I liked FC4...graphics is better it is polished... Himalaya feels great, Pagan min is a great villain, FC 5 hope county good too... It wasn't violent like fc3, 4... but a good game... Why do you expect every far cry to be like far cry 3 I don't get it... I like vaas as a villain and also fc4 and fc5 villains... Graphics gets better in each game

It makes me sad how little the differences are in the graphics of the games. Per Farcry there is each time a gap of a few years in between. Wich makes u expect that the graphics would be better each time they launch a new farcry, but thats not the case in my opinion. I really hope fc7 will be like 3 & 4: skin animation, skill tree, hunt/craft mechanic. Those aspects were the ones that made farcry.

I play far cry 3 for story and 4 for physics

The movement in Far cry 4 is a little bit faster than Far cry 3. What I mean is the way you get in the vehicles in Far cry 4 if you notice:))

No matter what Far Cry 3 is the best. Story wise and Character writing, No any other Far Cry game can come closer to it. Hats off to the developers of Far Cry 3❤

I played far cry 4,5 and now 6 and I loved the far cry 4 I had so much fun on that game

(ima use hunting here as an example for what im about to say) The major reason for the lack of detail and animation in hunting for fc5 and fc6 is because some idiots got mad that it "takes too long", that's also the reason they got rid of the ability to sleep, apparently the more realism the game has, the angrier people get :/

There is a place in Far Cry 4 where you can escape the map to the himalaya by the mountain but you keep being teleported

Fun fact the engineer at Ubisoft spent 3 years to develop fire propagation for far cry 3

I really love both farcry4 and 5

I really wished far cry had on its story missions a great Zoo with different exhibits from all around the world. So in Editor we could have incredible aestetic widlife scenes to create wonderful and cool things.

As a 65 year old gaming veteran and a player of these when released, FC3 was console kiddie food which the series never fully expunged. I've often thought FC5 is the best overall and I stand by that. Kids can have their T&A Citra or Edgy Vas. FC4 is more of the same - a LOT more, but the Wingsuit escape will always be special. FC5 makes me proud to be American while FC6 was a new developer whom decided to go back and try to capture 3 and 4 together in a single experience. FC6 also forced players into a female protagonist - doesn't bother me as that would have been my given choice like in FC5. One step forward - 3 steps back. At least 6 saved money on voiced companions/guns for hire so they could throw it at Giancarlo. At least Danny Trejo was a big plus. FC6 is good, it just tried a bit too hard with less inspiration.

Fst cry 5 best weapon and progress skill. FC4 the best bow hunting. How many times less annoyed in 3 that the bow was so ineffective. 4 I went through the whole with a bow on the highest difficulty level

Far cry 3 has the best story :)

I liked the little sound lag behind a distance explosion and when the sound reaches the player. It feels realistics as in real time sounds travel slower than light so we may see explosion at a distance sooner than we hear it in real life . I wish they had implemented that feature in other farcry games too. Also, In farcry 2, whenever a rocket explodes near the player, the whole screen jitters and shakes giving a very real life feeling - as in real life if a bomb or a rocket explodes close to use, we will most likely be shaken really good from its impact. I loved that feeling the most in the whole farcry 2 , but unfortunately the developers decided against implementing that feature in the future farcry games. Both of these features would have made for a great realistic user experience in my opinion.

For all its flaws FC2 is still my favourite by a country mile. It's the only game I've ever played where I've legitimately forgotten I was playing a game for short periods. It will always be the most immersive for me.

6 is the one I still play regularly mostly because of insurgency but the away missions were awful.

The ACOG sight was much improved from 5 onwards, it was very inaccurate in 4, made the MS16 almost useless. The chevron on the bushman variant was also considerably bigger than future variant.

I remember when i firstly play Farcry 3 on ps3 and get in the car for the first time. This makes my so happy

Far Cry 4 is the realistic so far Music, Environment, Trees and grass React to the wind

i dont like the healing system in the newer far cry games, was always funny to just see the dude pop some metal out of him arm and go back into rushing the gun fight

I abandoned the series after Far Cry 3 so this was really interesting. I might pick up a copy of 5 one of these days.

I think every Far Cry Title is unique. People who don't like them, won't like every Far Cry Game. But unpopular opinion but Primal, 5 & 6 were okay. Good Games in General. Even when they were published by Ubisoft.

So, objectively the best of the series seems to have been Far cry 3...but my favorite was Far cry 4..instead Far cry 5 seems to me to be the best in physics and details (and also very underrated)... And far cry 6 is the best in graphics.. 💝

Far cry 5 is my favorite. Far Cry 6 just seemed like more of an extended DLC for Far Cry 5 and I didn't really care for it. The only one of the games I really considered groundbreaking was Far Cry Primal. I have all of the games and will probably buy the next one when it comes out.

It's strange to talk about physics and a realistic environment, and not include Far Cry 2, which beats them all without the slightest effort in this regard :P

Far cry really went downhill from Far Cry 5 in terms of immersion. In 2, 3 and 4 everything used to feel cut-throat, like you were actually fighting for your survival in an uncaring exotic environment. The following games are just large sandboxes filled with random NPC interactions, boring filler missions, guns that shoot like props and discutable diversity representation. I guess it can be enjoyed by some people, but it's not for me.

far cry 6 was a fantastic game,. specially the little treasure hunts and i was really shocked how they even implemented stranger things , pirates anda few other cool games . i dont know why it got such a bad rep. But one thing theyr eally fucked up was helicopter flying. helicopter flying mechanics in far cry 5 is really fun and intuitive., in 6 the helicopters fly as if they are on rails , the helicopter flies like a car in the air. just horrible

На мой взгляд все части хорошо по своему, но стоит отметить, что в 5 и 6 части больше геймплея. Но 6 часть потрясла не только наличием невероятно огромной карты для игрового мира, детализация, населенность местности и застройка, отличие регионов, но стоит также отметить, что 6 часть вытекает из 5 по своему, тут и блаж(Вивиро) и наличие нескольких главных боссов.
