The ride started life as ‘The Neverending Story’… So it used to be even more fantastically themed with lots of moving animatronics!

Whats going on with the themeing here?.... it's all over the place.

When it was themed like „the neverending story“ it was a bit interesting for fans of the movie. But now? Completely boring and no storyline.

Obsessed!!! with the textures in the monuments and cave walls, you can see they put effort into making every area distinct and different from the last. honestly kudos to the designers!

I gotta' tell ya': That splash hit the mic and - if you're listening with stereo headphones - it made the rest of the ride sound like I had water in my right ear...and I liked it. Added to the realism!

Fun fact: back when the park was part of the Warner Bros. franchise (called Warner Bros. Movie World) this river rapid ride was themed after the neverending story.

If you have ever done this ride when it opened, you would feel sad seeing this onride, it's in a terrible state. It used to be so good with the Never Ending Story theming.

honestly this looks like something I would've hastily thrown together as my first ride in Planet Coaster or something.

It's pretty good. Kind of quiet in places and could benefit from some additional movement.

Very cool theme! That dark fairy tale and a good rafting ride and I'm in. I'm a sucker for the whole "who's the unlucky sap who gets soaked?" element of it all. My sister is that unlucky person waaaay more often than not, but she handles it well.

I adored this! The story of King Arthur will never get old to me. Great music and story telling!

The only thing that would have made this better was if some of the bigger props were animatronics. I was waiting for that rock monster and that dragon to move! Other than that, this was incredible!

The theme was amazing though I got to say the ride layout itself looks really tame.

I still remember this ride as Mystery River. Good times. :´)

It seems it’s like the longest rapid river raft ride. Lol

I love the theme and attention to detail. But I have to say, my bucket list raft ride experience would have to be the roaring rapids ride at Shanghai Disneyland - mostly because of that insane crocodile monster animatronic. Brilliant filming here as always, Attractions 360°

I liked this ride a lot more before the retheming. It used to be themed to The Neverending Story.

Always amazes me how you are able to get on all these attractions with little to no crowds.
