Hi Dan, Good to know that you met up with Mike in London, love that laser disc of "The Good, the Bad & the Ugly" awesome collectors piece, look forward to receiving "The Abyss" nice edition of "Army of Darkness" love the first Robocop but the second one was a let down for me personally, considering getting that 88 Films release of "Hannie Caulder" as its more eye catching than my U.S Olive films version 🤩🤪. The Ghoulies movies 😅 they were a lot of fun watching back in the day, nice to see you adding "Maverick" to your westerns collection. Excellent mixture of purchases buddy.

As usual you’ve got some great stuff there. I need to see One false move as not watched that for years. The Abyss in 4k was amazing especially the extended cut 👍

Hi Dan, I was exactly the same, I missed laserdisc completely, I went from VHS to DVD and never even saw a laserdisc for sale 🧐 I did find a few a couple of months back on a market stall, they were a thing of beauty. I grabbed Hannie Caulder a few days ago, such a good western, I will be showing and talking about it next Monday. One False Move is an excellent film, I have the Australian release of it 🧐 nice one mate, take care👍😃👍

Great video Dan, awesome pick ups, and it's very nice for usr1 retro to pick you up those pieces , and army of darkness is my second favourite in who evil dead franchise, with my favourite been the 2013 remake with the gorgeous Jane levy. Also I never knew that you are also a horror fan, bostin (bostin is a word we say in the black country which means awesome) I'm a huge horror fan myself, and nice book, I have a few horror books as I do like to also have reading material on films as well as watching them, speaking of reading material, I appreciate the little panflets in Blu-ray releases for something for me to read about the film, but I don't like it when there just pictures, cause if I wanna see a picture I can just pause the film 🥴😂 the last kumite is on my list also but I'll wait till the price drops but I'm not a fan of the guy david from the viking samurai, great channel he has but there's something he did and cause of that I don't like him, and the guy from the parents randy quaid is hilarious especially in , not another teen movie , and Gary the tennis coach.

I seem to remember seeing Carl Franklin, who directed One False Move in an episode of the American TV series Barnaby Jones. Franklin moved about a bit as an actor, and then Franklin became a director. I might be wrong, but Franklin worked with the late Roger Coreman and his Concorde Pictures set-up. There was one film whilst Franklin was at Concorde called Nowhere to Run, which had Jason Priestley and one of the Carradine's, though I've forgot which one. That film was pretty good, but Nowhere to Run was obviously a stepping stone to Franklin's future success. All I know is the producer of One False Move was looking for a director for his low budget affair, and Franklin's connection to Corman helped bring the two together. 1995’s Devil in a Blue Dress was another Franklin film that only now gets mentioned, but back then, the film vanished into a pit of obscurity.

Hi Dan, I picked up the normal Scream factory release of Army of darkness with all the cuts of the film, i am now thinking about upgrading to the 4K, always enjoyed that film and remember watching it at the Odeon cinema on release. I also enjoy Robocop 2 mate, think its a bit like Jaws 2 were they are both good sequels but not as great as the first film. I have Hannie Caulder on my wish list, i want to try and get all the Tigon release's. Not seen Ghoulies since VHS, remember liking them at the time, Thanks mate.
