Thanks. As they say every day is a blessing. This is just a view of what happens at night time. I enjoy seeing the planes make their appearance.

Nice clip, Charlie! Nice to see the GoPro has that cool feature. The rest of us have to create this in post! I also liked that your clip had control over the white balance, keeping it around 3k, and how lucky to have no wind! Fun stuff, and I'm glad to see you are enjoying this style of photography, it is still very new to many and few understand the work you have to put into getting good clips like this! Well done! I'm subscribed!

Thanks for the subscription. I'm not limited to Houston time lapses. I have some from Austin, TX, and some from when I get to travel by air. It's the software on the GoPro. I used to do a lot more editing before the features came standard. Now it's copy/paste from the microSD card to the PC and upload it to YT. It doesn't take me much time, would be nice to have a quicker upload speed. But hey, I enjoy doing it and hope others enjoy it too. You can search by date to see how it looked. I only missed a few days here and there over a couple years (camera down, driving trips, etc).

My issue isn't pixelization....it would overheat and turn off. I have it plugged into an outlet. I already lost 1 camera because i had the battery in it and it overheated and expanded. Lesson learned.

@@timelapse713 Ah! But wait. The expanded battery is from over charging (done it myself on 10 different things!) but that is not overheating of the camera. If you are not shooting more than 15 sec and have about 2-3 on interval, it should stay cool. Only if you got bright dots in the image (usually red spots in my experience) do you have a hot sensor. It usually takes a 5 minute exposure to get that hot.

Interesting. All I know is it would get really hot and just shut off on its own. Then I would get the battery swelling.
