It’s actually really practical to dance like this for a rehearsal, it’s why others do it too: 1. You can save your energy for the actual audience (duh) 2. You’re not even SUPPOSED to dance or sing super hard for a rehearsal. It’s like doing a check before the show, making sure the music playback is good, mics are working, members remember the dance, familiarize the idols with the stage, make sure no closet malfunction, etc. It’s just a practice run. 3. Some venues will have more than one rehearsal, so back to the energy point, you shouldn’t blow yourself out before the real thing 4. A lot of people get ready to perform in different ways, and one of them is to just FEEL the music, so they shouldn’t focus on technicalities. 5. If you DO dance hard for a rehearsal and accidentally injure yourself, you won’t get to perform, so here, it’s definitely better to under dance than over dance and these are just some common sense reasons, they may have personal reasons too

I don’t get why people called her lazy. It’s a rehearsal and she just marked the dance. I do this in my dance classes when we’re just going over the moves. Plus her vocals are stable as hell, and she performs amazingly. She could be tired or injured or both as well. People are so quick to pass judgment no matter how hard she’s working and without knowing what she’s going through.

Lol i think j is tired rehearsingor just not in the mood, and i think she had a problem on her earpiece, u can see her holding onto it on the first rehersal, she also sings loud maybe bc she cant hear herselfon the earpiece.. anyways rehearsals is for checking if their is a prob in the mics and so on.. overall jennie did great for me. And she made me smile.

She’s getting bashed for it because laziness was never cool. It’s not “edgy” or “trendy”. It shouldn’t be hyped up by try-hard emo teens. Just sharin’.

It's just rehearsal, the most important is when they execute it on the real stage. Rehearsal is just to remember the choreography they will dance, the lyrics they have to sing, and what kind of interaction they need to talk to hype the crowd. On top of that, Even though she looks annoyed her voice is so loud and steady it means she is practicing seriously and earnestly at that time, and also they don't get paid for rehearsals because it's just 'rehearsals', so she doesn't need to show her emotions during rehearsals because they just pretend as if they are facing a real audience during rehearsals, but in reality it's still not an actual stage People here don't know how Gen 2 idols do rehearsal. they're also that relaxed and people don't mind as much as nowadays. Look at snsd during rehearsal, they are also not serious like jennie and SNSD even joke during rehearsal. You guys only attack and gossip about her because she is Jennie from blackpink. So sick yall

Their performance is beautiful and wonderful, and their dance is good, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosie, Lisa

Y’all are annoying. It’s a rehearsal. Jennie doesn’t have to be preforming with as much energy as she has or act like there are people watching. I bet she didn’t even know she was being filmed. It’s literally not that big of a deal. Y’all just have a hate kink and use Jennie to get off.
