I was lucky enough to stay there for 3 days in 2001 for Labor Day weekend. It use to be owned by Vinny Smith, who was the CEO of Quest Software. It was just a vacation home that he use to let a lot of people stay at. He would reward people for their work by letting them stay there for a weekend. Very memorable weekend.

We were just there and loved it! That sand in front of the cave entrance at 9:28, was non existent this past weekend, had to climbs over some rocks to get in but well worth it! Inside the cave there was also rocks to climb over and around, along with water and some small fish. It was pretty amazing!

Yes I was just there this week (Mar 9, 2023) and I could not believe the "smooth" entrance and throughout seen in this video because when i was there, there were large boulders to get around. Seems like much if the sand has receded since exposing them.

A 14 year old girl died in that blow hole back in the 80's. She fell in at night and couldn't get out. He parents, that lived up the cliff, had the Army Corp of Engineers fly in a telephone pole with a helecopter and plugged the blow hole so that if anybody fell in, they would land on the wood and not fall into death. A big storm shot it out like a cannon.

“California has quite a few private beaches. All of them are immediately in front of private property, many of which are gated communities. If a beach has no access except crossing private property, it is considered inaccessible.“ This beach is in 3 Arch Bay, a gated community. They are private, the pools are owned by the property above them. When are people going to learn to respect other people’s property? It’s gross this guy posts this and tells ppl how to get to someone’s home. Creep.

@@KatRinaZLuv369 NOPE, California law says the beaches are public up to the mean high tide line. There are by law pubic easements on the dry sand so you can put up as many faux gates as you want to intimidate beach goers but the pubic still has a legal right to be there. In fact, 2 Malibu property owners were fined $5.1 million for blocking access back in 2016. When are you people going to respect the law? It's creepy 1% entitled attitude.

We just got back from spending a week there at “the inn at Laguna” , right down the beach past the caves there. Expensive, but worth it, also a French Bakery called “Moulin” , reminded me of being in France . Also a restaurant “230 ?? Street” , absolutely delicious. And a breakfast place that’s been opened since 1949, the “Penguin Café. All wonderful, and an artist has a shop there called “Faux Paw” , she has a website also, Debby Carman is her name and oh so friendly and personable.
