@seanmckay3392 This is not a commonrail engine with piezo injectors, it's the old school injection pump straight to the injector. Its a mechanical injection, so the governor is still done mechanically.

Thanks man, just put a turbo on this thing and it’s a beast! Working on the exhaust portion of the build now.

You guys should put the original jack shaft back on so you have more torque with that centrifugal clutch

Boys this bike is sick I am interested in building the exact same bike but with a different but similar engine but I have ran into two problems I don’t know how I would hook up the throttle because the engine is made for a generator second I cannot find a Centrifugal Clutch for the shaft so if you have any advice on any of these things I would be more then happy if you could help me out

if you know a machinist, getting the output shaft turned down to fit a clutch/pulley is pretty easy (ive heard sandpaper works too). generators usually use the same governor setup as a normal engine, just using a bolt for adjustment rather than a cable. should be as easy as removing the adjuster bolt and adding a cable to replace it

Yes the clutch is slipping the whole time. We tried the cvt, this engine does not have enough rpm to make one work. max speed was 7mph with cvt. Tried all the springs they make. We are going with a manual transmission from 3dmotorsport. That will give us full lug and gearing options
