Hey guys. In today's video, we are going to be using a super cool technique to create a 4D bubble rose with acrylic ombre petals! OMG! How awesome is that?
So, first of all, I'm going to be creating the bubble rose using the caviar microbeads, my pointed tool and the absolutely incredible, It's Clear Dear AcryGel! I absolutely adore this product and you should too. It has an incredible range of different uses and I've been using it quite a lot lately.
So, to begin, I am going to roll a bead of AcryGel around my pointed tool as I want to create a nice sticky and rounded layer for the beads to go onto. In my dampen dish I do have some Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution which you can use to titivate the AcryGel blob and mould it into the shape that you want.
The next step is to dip your tool into the microbeads and then you are you a going to cure it in the lamp by rotating it slightly whilst it's in there so that it catches all the sides. You are then going to dip it into the Urban Grafitti Top Coat and then spin it. We are going to be using Spa Day and Rich Teal as the main colours for our design. We are then going to apply them both directly to the sculpting form first and then paint them on top of our microbead ball.
Next, you will begin the process of paint it, dipping it in the topcoat and curing it using our rotation method and once you have completed this and it's starting to look like a bubble base layer, you can file over it to make it more rounded. We are going to attach the bubble rose onto the nail using AcryGel and finally we are going to be creating an array of petals to spread around it using my own teal mixtures of acrylic powders.
