You can literally see Scott saying "if you don't want to you don't have to do it, okay?"

I think Scott isn't upset with Tessa, he's upset with the fact that she's hurt- Another way of saying that is that he's worried about her, and worried faces sometimes look the same as angry faces. See the way he's rubbing her back? Yeah. And he didn't push away from the boards in anger, he was pushing off to go talk to the judges because the whistle had just been blown. Also, when you turn the volume way up you can totally tell that Tessa says "It's my quad," very clearly.

this commentator. ugh, trying to create so much drama. "He doesn't look happy." of course Scott wasn't happy- his partner is in pain. they had to stop. he's not mad at Tessa. And that comment about, "She's skating away from Scott Moir." as if she suddenly got mad at him and decided not to skate with him or something. jeez this guy.

Tessa Virtue is definitely one less lonely girl with Scott around supporting and protecting her. Scott is awesome.

You are full of reason. From what we have seen publicly in the relationship between Scott and Tessa, Scott has always shown great affection and respect for Tessa, and is always a great protector of Tessa. And, Tessa also always showed a lot of affection and respect for Scott. Scott and Tessa were an excellent example of a good relationship between two partners in the field of Figure Skating. And, it seems that this is the result not only of great joint work to achieve this good relationship, but also, and essentially and firstly, of excellent qualities and personality characteristics of each of them. Scott and Tessa seem to be two lovely people, who appear to have a high level of emotional intelligence. May God protect them throughout their lives.

CBC is being so harsh on the two...read an article earlier from them about how Scott was pushing Tessa to go on when he didn't realize she as skating away at first. He also didn't look angry when he skated away to tell the judges about a time out the first time and it's clear that he was pushing more for the withdrawal than Tessa was. Anyway their dance looked amazing and hopefully they'll be in great shape for Worlds

@pandatours Totally agree with you... he looked extra-concerned for her... as if to say "it's not worth it..." (i.e. risking your health)... to me he seemed to me to behaving like a perfect gentleman. There always seems to be mutual respect between them.

@rcardo Tessa said "it's my quad" and later reports confirm that Tessa's had some quad pain and Tessa says that it was a little bit of strain when they left for Taipei City but that their practices went really well. Scott confirms that they're going to be at Worlds even though they've had to make that decision twice, that's the goal

Totally agree with HelTra91 below! It's clear she says "it's my quad!!" What a prick this commentator is... Also agree Scott is not angry - quite the opposite he looks extremely supportive of Tessa. He immediately takes it upon himself to go and see the judges as soon as they blow the whistle, that is all. These commentators! Where are the British Eurosport people?... they should be the only English Language commentary available to all!

They'll be back at Worlds, and they are still better than Davis and White, < better not expect they are better than them, because that was a fake win for them, VIRTUE AND MOIR are the best, THEY WILL BE BACK
