This Rams team was a really good solid team.Stafford out played Kyler Murray and the Cardinals wild card playoff,Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in the divisional playoff,Jimmy Garropolo and the 49ers in the championship game,and last but not least Joe Cool Burrow and the Bengals in the Super Bowl.That is epic congrats to the Rams one of the best teams in NFL history

Yes sir. Now fast forward to this following season. In training camp, Rams cut Blanton, and he is immediately picked up by McVay’s old team, WashDC. Well, I hope he gets to play every game. He did get injured for SB with Rams last year, and there were two other TEs injured ahead of him. So, Rams kept those 2, Higbee and Hopkins, who also did a good job when healthy. It’s fair, I guess.

I'm from Detroit, and always believed that Stafford wasn't the problem, unlike a bunch of friends. But seeing him prove so many doubters wrong, I'm excited and so proud of him, he deserves it.

Regardless of the regular season losses, I’m so proud of my Rams beating that team, going to the Super Bowl and winning it all. They can have all the regular season wins. We have this 🏆

Joe Burrow and jamarr Chase have played in the big games when they play for LSU and won the national title they're not scare
I'm glad for Matthew Stafford. The guy never complained. I was very impressed during his time with the Detroit Lions. Despite the Lion's not consistently having the right type of roster and depth from over the years, Stafford took ownership of leading the Lions and pulled out some amazing victories with them. From watching this game, quite a few QBs would have been rattled from some critical plays which happened and a few key injuries. But Stafford is solid as he consistently is. Good win.

Looking back at this game, San Fran had just as bad a meltdown as they did in the SuperBowl. Up 17-7 and completely choked.
Both teams had big dropped INTs. But San Francisco dropping one of the easiest INT Was a huge game changer, or at least would have been

Man I remember this season so well, I kinda knew the rams were gonna be there in the back of my mind all year. That defense was just loaded.
Everyone counted the 49ers out of playoffs after week 5 and they reached the NFC championship and fought with some serious grit. They should be proud of themselves for that incredible run. As a 49ers fan I definitely am proud of their season.

But Stafford was drafted #1 and expected to save the franchise. I'm happy for Stafford but I don't think it's impressive he won on such a loaded Rams team. But he seems to be well liked by fans and players across the league so I guess 🤷 like Eli Manning he will get more attention than the elite defensive players on his team.

He was just stuck on a team that could never put enough pieces around him. I know there are a lot of Lions fans out there that are happy to see him succeed. This was a very rigged game. No flags on Rams all flags on 49ers, Rams constantly snapping the ball with 0 seconds on the clock. Announcers commenting multiple times the how the refs were not calling late hits/penalties on the Rams. Typical rigged LA game to make them play Super Bowl in their home stadium of fake LA trash fans

I had the Bengals coming out of the AFC but I thought GB was going to meet them. Next choice was LA though so this really isn't insanely shocking. Bengals got hot at the right time and LAR did the same even with that loss in 18.

As an older fan who the NFL lost many years ago, it's baffling seeing new fans come aboard. But have fun with it... I suppose they're trying to get away from the kapernick stuff and get their audience back again, but I still don't care. When I try to watch a game, or any other sport for that matter every other word you hear from the announcers is "covid", I just can't take it.

Well, in Washington DC we had the Rams head coach as Offensive Coordinator. This just make me throw my hand up in the air.
That was closer than I thought. Garapolo played a descent game The last interception was actually a last second wish that hit the receiver in the hands. He threw two touchdowns and played competitively against this good Rams team. Everyone is so critical of Jimmy G. I say that was a great effort by both teams.

Here's my thought on grappo. He makes plays almost any qb could make. He's very average. Good while in the pocket but add pressure and flush him out he cant throw on the run for beans. All in all i see him being replaced and the team that's there are fierce competitors and have carried jimmy along. He seems to do just enough to keep his job. But maybe its time to move on.

that last throw was absolutely terrible idc if a 4th down is coming up after that it’s better than throwing a pick. I don’t care if it hit the receiver in the hands it was still a terrible decision just take the sack at that point instead of just throwing it up with a prayer. I think that throw lost Jimmy his job on the 9ers

@@drewberrynews3875 I wasn't that bad decision. He takes a sack there, the game is basically over, they're looking at 4th and 22 with no timeouts left and 40 seconds on the clock. He would almost definitely throw a INT on the next play in that scenario. If he could have flung that ball out of bounds that would have been better but it also would have been better if the line didn't collapse and someone was open to throw to.

As a 49er Faithful I want to congratulate the Rams. They outplayed us and deserved their great victory. They shut down our usually-dominant run game which was critical for them and something no other team had done up until this game, and they limited our pass rush and passing game enough to earn their victory. They played with fire and heart for all 4 quarters. We just didn't have enough in the tank for all 4 quarters, perhaps from all those road games. Rams also had their injuries, as well, so not an excuse.

Me too - and against the Rams on Week 18, no less. Plus, I yelled at the top of my lungs in enjoyment when the 49ers won against Cowboys and then Packers in this season of playoffs. But now, it’s time for Trey Lance to be in the driver’s seat, Brandon Aiyuk to have his best season next season, and our cornerbacks to improve upon their cover plays and catching for the INTs.
I know I'm not the only one who enjoys watching the NFC/AFC Championships as much as the Super Bowl. The energy in the stadiums just seem stronger.

Except Kupp never showed up for Rams under Goff during the last few years. This is the first year Kupp has been healthy for Rams playoffs. He’s always been injured. He’s grown stronger by hitting the weights more and finally he’s able to make it through a NFL season and make a contribution to the Rams.

What a game. Shoutout to both teams. And shoutout to all of the teams in the playoffs this season. They made each game very competitive and very aggressive/physical. I love seeing competition instead of blowout one sided games.

The final 5 minutes or so, the Rams showed so much passion. You can tell how bad they wanted this. So many vets on that team trying to finally get their first ring. Even Von Miller looked ecstatic as if it was his first time going lol

Bosa was held EVERY down..No Call..RAMs had 2 delay of game penalties in 4th QTR NOT called wouldve lost.. GOSH its obvious who HAD to win for Goddell...49ers should get Aaron Rodgers...
Kupp isn't one to usually show emotion, but I wanted him to give out a battle cry really bad right there at 11:10 and he let that thing out I was so pumped for him. Dude is a straight up warrior! LA everything!
