And yet, at the same time,49ers have actually made it past the Divisional Round of the playoffs a few times by beating Dallas, mind you (2021-2022) along the way and making 3 Super Bowl appearances that were all very close, highly competitive, enjoyable games to watch even if they lost them. That's actually a hell of a lot more to be proud of then nearly 30 years of often-good, extremely talented, gifted Cowboys teams finding inventive, creative ways to lose WC and/or Div. round games (2006, 2007, 2009, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021-23). I'm neither a Cowboys or 49ers fan (Saints fan, actually) but San Francisco can actually say they've done something then just being stagnant or have this massive, figurative "firewall" blocking or protruding their path since Clinton's first term in office.

The 49ers players didn't know the new rules, and the Chiefs said they talked about the rule changed for 2 weeks and how they would defer in OT. The new rule change in Playoffs is if you get ball first and score a TD, the other team also gets a chance to score a TD. Coaching matters a LOT. Reid and Spags are the best in the NFL

Chiefs nation here, and I must say, some of you guys are some weak a$$," what have you done for us lately" fans. Shanahan didn't muff a punt, or miss an extra point, or fumble inside the 20. Your defense was ballin. The game could have went either way. Had Hardaman fumbled and Niners recovered to win the SB you would singing Shanahan's praises. Chiefs made mistakes, we just made fewer.
