All nice and dandy. Well that's until Spiderman starts fighting crime and his mask falls apart because it was only glued together and not sewed. I know because I'm a mask maker.

lelennyface Just because they are a mask maker does not mean that they know how to make all types of masks. Or they may want some tips on how to do even better. Or it popped up on their recommendations. Or they could be bored.

how big should the template be printed out? Do I have to modify the template the accommodate for my measurements? Would this also still be good if I made it out of faux leather, and don't use a face shell?

Hey dude wondering if you could help me, btw breat channel! I want to do this same idea your way seems to be the best way to make a decent looking spidie mask but im planning on using a black morph suit to make the black symbiote suit of spidies and was wondering. A) How would you make white eyes on the black mask? And B) What material do you suggest to use for putting the white spider on the black suit and how to glue? Cheers man keep up the great work

PEZZ A) use white plastic mesh filter for eyes; B) use rubber cement to glue fabric, same glue i used to glue the mask :)

I have a really big head and one of the mask I made of yours didn't fit so could you make a bigger size template? Also since I don't have a read tee shirt do you think it would be cool to make a black venom mask

yes you have to customized your own template by putting in your own measurements, unlike a helmet, slightly oversize helmet is still wearable, but a oversize face mask doesn't look good :)

I am trying to make a spiderman suit so I bought a red morph suit from amazon (15$) it wasn't official brand but it works. The I'm using this video for mask! So you don't need spandex just use morph!

Thanks! It'll take a while until I'll make the manikin head and the mask, but as soon as it's done I'll show it to you! Also I want to. make a few changes for the spidey mask. I have seen that if you put silver mesh for the lensses it shows in silver. I want to make it white so I'll put white mesh instead. Also I have my own style for the spidey lensses. All in a hard work and patience!

Hey Dali! Listen up. At a point in your tutorial you used mounting board as a base for the spider-lensses. I noticed that you didn't glue that to the mask. I don't wanna spend extra cash for mounting board, so I wanna ask if it's ok If I use cardboard as a base for the cerial's cardboard before I glue the cardboard eyes to the face shell?

Christopher Ryan yes you can try without the v shape cut, maybe your fabric is stretchy enough you don't need it, or you can do the v cut later, after you done the rest :)

what kind of fabric? i want to try the cotton combed but the fabric it self not good (stretch good but wide open pore - sorry for bad english). just confuse for low budget :D Oh and 1 more, do you have the exact size of the template? :D coz in pdf i print it actual size but small. Previous i just made deadpool mask from your PDO. its fits well. :D

Godzilla3013 no, hot glue doesn't works well with fabric, i think. you need some flexible elastic glue, such as rubber cement :)
