48H SOLO Backpacking & MOUNTAIN TROUT Fishing! (Catch, Cook, Camp)

Спорт

I am solo backpacking for 48h, to a remote lake to go mountain Trout fishing! This catch, cook, camp adventure took me through the Washington wilderness, across creeks, through the woods, and into the Mountains to a pristine, alpine lake, FILLED with hungry Rainbow Trout, while at night, I was visited by curious salamanders. Besides a delicious Mountain Trout Catch & cook, enjoy beautiful scenery and nature.

A tip and an observation: keep the shorter, more plump trout for cooking. They are fatter and more flavorful because they have yet to spawn. The longer thinner fish are not nearly as well flavored. The observation: your enthusiasm is the key to your video. If I did this , it would be sort of ho-hum, but a lot of info. I think people like the scenery and your joy more. Cheers!

I m writing this words at the last part of the video, I m 23 years now and i loved fishing and fish since my childhood, and did some crazy things in my past like catching fish with bare hands and fishing rods. But due to study and work pressure since the last decade. I totally forgot the life beside the study and career. Today this video gave me the chill and reminded me that I have to live my life again. They way you were enjoying the nature was totally beautiful and made me emotional and encouraged me to do enjoy travelling and hiking. Thank you sir for making this kind of video and I m glad that this video came into my recommendation. 41:20 that feeling of thank you god for giving this life to me. WOW

I like to make coffee in a tea kettle, get the water to just start bubbling then add however much coffee you want (my kettle makes about a liter of coffee, I do five or six spoonfuls of ground coffee into the water) Make it so that it gently rolls around the edges and creates a little vortex in the middle then I let it boil like that for six minutes or so. I then pour it through a teabag or a coffee filter into a thermos. Very very smooth coffee ☕️ by far my favorite way to make it.

I passed the test and got a fisher license, but you need a permit for every river or lake or pond. That costs quite some money every time. And wild camping is not allowed. It is amazing to watch your films. They make me feel your freedom. Enjoy!

One of the most beautiful videos I’ve seen on KZread in a long time! I suffer from anxiety which causes me to not want to travel far distances from home or do anything really that makes me uncomfortable, but this left me feeling inspired and hopeful! Captivating man, I subscribed!

Your shots of the rough skinned newts (Taricha Granulosa) is gorgeous 💜 we actually had one we kept as a pet because he was injured by our hook during a fishing trip, and he just passed away last week. Seeing this reminded me what amazing and beautiful creatures they are. So lovely that you included that.

I dont know why but this first camping sight in the woods, gave me the chills! There was something creepy about the place.. My favourite video of yours so far Fish on baby !
