Hey you guys are checking out some of my fav places. I was born in Launceston and got to know the Basin/Gorge, Grindelwald and Lillydale falls. Oh and you were parked close to my office in town, its quite a busy area, so good thing you were there on a public holiday :)

❤ my old stomping ground...thanks for the reminders. Cataract gorge is a place I spent many summers. The town is usually busy weekdays. So.many more places to visit there. You will love the lavender farm when in bloom and the smell 😊

Ah Cataract Gorge was amazing, really wished we'd worn our bathers and spent the day swimming there.. it would have been great on hot summer days ☀️ Yeah we definitely timed our visit wrong with the public holiday... we'd never heard of Recreation Day before and only heard about it from the locals. But I'm sure we'll be back when we finish the lap and are back north as we really enjoyed it in Launceston and wish we spent more time there. 💙

Would love some content on your overall impressions of tas... eg: lack of people, wildlife spotting opportunities, the clean air, the awesome sunrises and sunsets, etc, etc. Beautiful footage again. Youve seen a bit of tassie but so many more awesome spots to see. Recommended bay of fires, freycinet peninsula, bruny island near hobart, port arthur, Richmond, strahaun. Look forward to next ongoing journey
