48 Hours in GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK!
Two beautiful glaciers and the second highest mountain in Nevada!
Great Basin National Park is one of the least-visited national parks, but in my opinion, it is one of the most impressive for star gazing, tree hugging, glacier views, and challenging hikes. If you are in the area, watch this vlog to find out what you can expect to see in just 2 days.
However you choose to spend your 48 hours in Great Basin National Park, be prepared for a unique experience without the millions of people that Yosemite or Zion National Park welcome each year. Please stay on trails, even to pass others, and respect the wilderness.

Kristen, thanks for the insight on Great Basin NP; we are looking forward to visiting this NP soon!
First of all this chick's a national treasure!
One of my favorite spots on my way to Moab 💖🦄🧡 they had Saturn viewing from the lower parking area at GBNP in 2011. Amazing! It’s true about their mountains and hot springs!
Ooh science! Sound like a good spot to check out rn
Love this video! I’m planning on heading there this year!! You said you went on June. Was it cold? Between the snow and jacket, I figure it might be cold? I’m from Florida lol
"Imma take a pic"
Thanks for sharing Kristen. Great Basin is very cool and remote. Congrats on an epic hike. BTW, are you vegan?
Hahaha that part of the tree you pointed out reminds me of exactly whats in your mind😋
Nice video... we are planning a trip soon
Cool stuff ! Great location and excellent choice of music. Speaking of music where do you get such awesome music from?
Amazing... To for sharing
Great video 👍
Do they sell green impact sockets?
Questions if you don't mind... layers? How many and what kind? Between 90+ at the trail heads but cooler temps and hail at elevation, looks like various kinds might be worth bringing.
Cool video! Have you gone up Star Peak in Pershing County Nevada yet? Or Lamoil?
Going there tomorrow!
